    Abstract: An apparatus and a method detect a motion in a mobile station. A motion is determined via a motion detecting function in the mobile station. A parameter for motion detection is determined from sensor data obtained via a sensor. The extracted parameter for the motion detection is transmitted to a counterpart mobile station. A parameter for motion detection determined by the counterpart mobile station is received from the counterpart mobile station. The extracted parameter is compared with the parameter received from the counterpart mobile station to determine a function associated with a motion input by a user.

    Abstract: A method of reducing a total, per device, measurements taking time in a calibration system that uses a sensor array that serially reports out its readings and a data processing unit that needs to receive the reported out readings in good order before allowing an under-measurement first display device to advance away from a measurements taking station includes the step of not driving the first display device with all of required full screen test images where each is a full screen display of only a respective one of a predetermined minimum number of grayscale values produced as a minimum number of needed full screen sample images and; in place of at least a first plurality of the not-produced full screen images, driving the under-measurement first display device with a partial screen multi-pattern that presents a plurality of different grayscale values including ones not presented by those of all of the full screen test images that are used to drive the under-measurement first display device.

The image geographic information part stores an image of each feature and geographic information on each feature. The image processor extracts a characteristic of the image of the feature and compares the extracted characteristic with image information stored in the image geographic info illation part. If recognizing a specific feature through the image processor, the controller proportionally compares geographic information of the image geographic information part with size and direction data on a peripheral feature near the specific feature within an image, and recognizes the peripheral feature.

The shock absorber has a high pressure tank with a high pressure chamber installed outside of the outer shell, and a self pumping unit for sucking gas and pumping it into the high pressure chamber using energy generated by movement of the piston rod.
