    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a self-assembled nanostructure of an elastin- and resilin-based block copolypeptide with stimuli responsiveness and resilience for drug delivery, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, a method for preparing the same and application thereof. The diblock polypeptide reversibly forms a self-assembled micelle structure in response to temperature stimuli and a hydrogel prepared using the triblock polypeptide undergoes reversible sol-gel or gel-sol transition in response to temperature stimuli and exhibits enhanced mechanical strength due to chemical crosslinkages between tyrosine residues. With such superior properties, the diblock/triblock polypeptide of the present disclosure can be used for drug delivery systems, scaffolds for tissue engineering and kits for tissue or organ regeneration.

The porous silicon-based carbon composite according to an embodiment comprises silicon particles capable of intercalating and deintercalating lithium, a magnesium compound, and carbon, and satisfies a molar ratio (Mg/Si) of magnesium atoms to silicon atoms present in the composite of 0.02-0.30 and a molar ratio (O/Si) of oxygen atoms to silicon atoms in the composite of 0.40-0.90. Thus, when the porous silicon-based carbon composite is applied to a negative electrode active material, initial efficiency and capacity retention as well as discharge capacity can be enhanced.

The apparatus includes an engine that generates power by combusting fuel and a drive motor that supplements the power from the engine and operates selectively as an electric generator to produce electrical energy. A clutch is disposed between the engine and the drive motor and a battery supplies electrical energy to the drive motor and is charged with the electrical energy produced by the drive motor. Multiple electric superchargers are installed in multiple intake lines through which outside air to be supplied into a combustion chamber of the engine flows. A controller determines an operation mode of the multiple electric superchargers based on required power of a driver and a state of charge (SOC) of the battery and adjusts the power output from the engine and the power output from the drive motor.
