  • Publication number: 20050259059
Abstract: A liquid crystal display and a driving method thereof. A liquid crystal is disposed between a first substrate and a second substrate, and R, G, and B color lights are sequentially applied to a plurality of pixels. A first common voltage and a first gray scale waveform corresponding to first gray scale data are applied to a first pixel in a field of a current frame, and a gray scale having a level half-way between gray scale levels of the first and second gray scale data is displayed by applying a second common voltage and a second gray scale waveform corresponding to the second gray scale data in the field of a next frame. The gray scale levels of the first and second gray scale data are different from each other by one level. By displaying gray scales having half-way levels, a milder screen having more smooth transitions between pixel intensities can be realized.

  • Publication number: 20050224674
Abstract: A cup holder comprising a pin formed on a tray and an arm with an inserting hole. The pin is inserted into the inserting hole with a silicon-rubber ring friction-fitted between the outer surface of the pin and the inner surface of the inserting hole. The arm rotates in a constrained manner with respect to the pin due to the friction of the silicon-rubber ring while an external force, lager than the friction between the silicon-rubber ring and the inserting hole of the arm, such as a forcible manipulation of the user is applying to the arm. When the external force to the arm is released, the movement of the arm is restricted by the friction of the silicon-rubber ring, so that the arm can firmly support a container.

  • Publication number: 20050221539
Abstract: A fuse area of a semiconductor device capable of preventing moisture-absorption and a method for manufacturing the fuse area are provided. When forming a guard ring for preventing permeation of moisture through the sidewall of an exposed fuse opening portion, an etch stop layer is formed over a fuse line. A guard ring opening portion is formed using the etch stop layer. The guard ring opening portion is filled with a material for forming the uppermost wiring of multi-level interconnect wirings or the material of a passivation layer, thereby forming the guard ring concurrently with the uppermost interconnect wiring or the passivation layer. Accordingly, permeation of moisture through an interlayer insulating layer or the interface between interlayer insulating layers around the fuse opening portion can be efficiently prevented by a simple process.

  • Patent number: 6945867
Abstract: A grating assembly drive means is connected to control the movement of the movable grating between OPEN and CLOSED positions relative to a fixed grating. The drive means moves the movable grating through yieldable connection when moving toward CLOSED position, whereby when such movement is blocked by a foreign object the movable grating stops without damaging the object or the drive. On the other hand movement by the drive means toward OPEN position is direct after removal of any slack caused by a previous yielding.

  • Patent number: 6936240
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of preparing technetium or rhenium complex for radiopharmaceuticals, through reaction of pertechnetate or perrhenate with a ligand in the presence of a reducing agent, wherein the reducing agent is a borohydride exchange resin (BER). The borohydride exchange resin of the present invention has advantages of being stable in a wide range of Ph, including acidic or alkaline condition(Ph 2˜14) and thus being applicable to biological materials as well as being easily removable through filtration when being administrated. Also since the radiolabelled complex is produced under conditions milder than those required for the conventional reducing agents as well as has high radiochemical purity and high labeling efficiency, the conventional reducing agents can be replaced by the BER of the present invention.
