  • Patent number: 7113186
Abstract: A reference image is displayed by processing spatial distribution to image data recording. A screen for inputting a corresponding command is displayed when requested. A corresponding slab is a three-dimensional slab rendered according to an input of a slab control command on a displayed screen. The three-dimensional rendered slab is also displayed. When the slab control command is designated among the Sagittal image, the Coronal image, and the Axial image on the displayed screen, the image designated on the basis of the reference image is displayed. When the slab control command is designated as a request to Rotate on the displayed screen, it is checked whether a new rotation center is designated. • Patent number: 7102634
Abstract: An apparatus and method for displaying a three-dimensional virtual endoscopic image are provided. In the method, information on a virtual endoscopic image is input in the form of volume data expressed as a function of three-dimensional position. A two-dimensional reference image, a three-dimensional reference image, and a virtual endoscopic image are detected from the volume data. The detected images are displayed on one screen. Virtual cameras are respectively displayed on areas, in which the two and three-dimensional reference images are respectively displayed. Here, a camera display sphere and a camera display circle are defined on the basis of a current position of each virtual camera. When information regarding to one image, among the two and three-dimensional reference images and the virtual endoscopic image on one screen, is changed by a user's operation, information regarding to the other images is changed based on the information changed by the user's operation.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of diagnosing the chances of pregnancy and the diagnostic kit for the method. In the present invention, follicular fluid is retrieved from the women who attended the in vitro fertilization program and matrix metalloproteinase activity is measured. According to the present invention, the chance of pregnancy in the group with low matrix metalloproteinase-9 activity is zero whereas in the group with high matrix metalloproteinase-9 activity, the chances are 50-60%. Therefore it is possible to predict the chances of pregnancy in assisted reproduction technology by measuring the degree of matrix metalloproteinase-9 expression by using the method and kit of the present invention enhancing the efficiency of assisted reproduction technology.

  • Patent number: 6853677
Abstract: There is disclosed a finger for effectively processing signals received via multi-path in a receiver of a mobile communication system and a RAKE receiver having the finger. In processing signals received by a plurality of antennas in the present invention, a single finger batch-processes the signals received by the plurality of antennas using the property that the time delays of the received signals are almost same and a time division method. At this time, a single apparatus batch-processes a portion necessary for a common calculation and a plurality apparatus separately process portions necessary for separate calculations. Thus, the present invention can provide a high-performance finger and a RAKE receiver having the finger wherein a single finger can process each of signals received by a plurality of antennas.

  • Publication number: 20040241094
Abstract: Oily paclitaxel composition and formulation for chemoembolization and preparation method thereof solubilizing paclitaxel in an oily contrast medium. The composition of the present invention solubilizes paclitaxel and has an advantage of delivering anticancer drug to the target cells by chemoembolization since it is possible to visualize the blood vessel during the chemoembolization process. The present invention also relates to oily paclitaxel composition and formulation additionally comprising chemicals that prevent paclitaxel precipitation for prolonged preservation and the preparation method thereof. Since the composition of the present invention solubilize paclitaxel effectively and can be visualized during chemoembolization, it can be used for TACE to treat hepatoma and other solid tumors.

  • Publication number: 20040137960
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for connecting an ear-microphone to a mobile phone through an interface connector of the mobile phone. The phone includes a codec which has hands-free-kit audio transmission and reception terminals connected to the interface connector. A controller includes first and second interrupt terminals which are used for detecting whether the ear-microphone plug is connected, and whether a call connection/termination key of the ear-microphone is activated, respectively. A first voltage drop detector detects a first voltage drop at the corresponding connection path when the ear-microphone plug is connected through the interface connector, and outputs a first interrupt signal to the first interrupt terminal. A second voltage drop detector detects a second voltage drop at the corresponding connection path when the call connection/termination key is activated with the ear-microphone plug being connected, and outputs a second interrupt signal to the second interrupt terminal.

  • Publication number: 20040070584
Abstract: A three-dimensional multi-planar image reconstruction system and method, and a recording medium readable by a computer storing the same. A shape of a corresponding section is displayed as a user selects an image mode on a projected three-dimensional reference image. Then at least one sample point being the basis of generation of the corresponding multi-planar image is sampled from the shape of the section, upon the user selecting a region in any one form of a straight line, a curve, and a free-formed curve on the shape of the displayed section. At least one sample point is converted to three-dimensional coordinates and the vectors which is perpendicular to the projection plane is multiplied by the inverse matrix of the viewing matrix to generate a three-dimensional multi-planar image sampling direction vector. Finally, the values corresponding to the unit voxels are determined using the three-dimensional multi-planar image sampling direction vector to create and display the multi-planar image.
