Abstract: A compound semiconductor material for forming an active layer of a thin film transistor device is disclosed, which has a group II-VI compound doped with a dopant ranging from 0.1 to 30 mol %, wherein the dopant is selected from a group consisting of alkaline-earth metals, group IIIA elements, group IVA elements, group VA elements, group VIA elements, and transitional metals. The method for forming an active layer of a thin film transistor device by using the compound semiconductor material of the present invention is disclosed therewith.

Abstract: The present invention relates to agonists, antagonists, and other molecules that specifically bind SIGLEC-6 on mast cells, their use in the treatment of asthma and other SIGLEC-6 mediated diseases or disorders, methods of diagnosing such diseases or disorders, and methods of screening for candidate compounds capable of modulating SIGLEC-6 activity in mast cells. The present invention also relates to the diagnosis and treatment of B-cell related disorders using compounds that bind and/or modulate SIGLEC-6.

Abstract: A mobile communication system includes at least one base transceiver station and a mobile switching center. The at least one base transceiver station is used for exchanging data with mobile phones. The mobile switching center is used for choosing one base transceiver station as a primary base transceiver station, and calculating positions of a first mobile phone and a second mobile phone. The position of the mobile phones include distances that the mobile phones are away from the primary base transceiver station, and an angle between the mobile phones relative to the primary base transceiver station. The mobile switching center is further used for calculating a distance between the first and second mobile phone according to the positions of the mobile phones. A related mobile communication method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A treatment system includes a regulator implanted within a patient, a computing device storing at least one patient database associated with the patient in whom the regulator is implanted, and a data transfer device. The data transfer device provides bidirectional communication (e.g., voice communication) and a data exchange (e.g., a treatment history, a patient database, and operational instructions) between the regulator and the computing device. A programmer can obtain patient reports and/or default treatment values from the computing device based on the data exchange.

The earphone mainly includes an earphone body, a communication line, an earphone plug, an alter switch and an adjustable impedance unit used for adjusting an impedance of the earphone. The adjustable impedance unit is connected between the earphone plug and the earphone body through the alter switch. The impedance of the earphone can be matched on the output impedance of the media player by adjusting the impedance of the adjustable impedance unit when an earphone is connected with a media player.

The display device includes a display unit; a clock counter; a distance estimator configured for detecting if the display device being used by a user, calculating distance between the user and a front of the display device, and generating a tracking signal if the distance is less than a predetermined distance; and a central processing unit configured for waiting for the tracking signal, resetting a worked time and a rested time when the tracking signal is received, signaling the clock counter to track the worked time, detecting if the worked time is less than a first predetermined time, and signaling the display unit to output the message prompt when the worked time is equal to or greater than the first predetermined time, thereby the present invention can prevent the user of the display device from fatigue.

Abstract: This invention provides a circuit structure with a double-gate organic thin film transistor device and application thereof. A protection layer covered on an organic thin film transistor structure having a bottom gate is used as another gate insulating layer. A metal layer is formed on this gate insulating layer to serve as another gate. A double-gate structure is hence accomplished. The double-gate structure can be used in a circuit. By the double-gate structure the threshold voltage of the organic thin film transistor can be adjusted, and advantageously changing the characteristic of the organic thin film transistor to improve the accuracy of signal transmission.
