  • Publication number: 20120140704
Abstract: In order to address the problem of RLC layer relaying in the prior art that downlink user data of a user equipment with an access through a relay station may be lost due to a handover, the invention proposes solutions of a method and apparatus for controlling downlink data transmission in a multi-hop relay communication system so that when a next-hop network device of a base station is a relay station, an RLC entity of the base station transmits an indication message to a PDCP entity of the base station, to trigger the PDCP entity of the base station to discard a PDCP SDU corresponding to at least one PDCP PDU, upon reception of a user equipment delivery acknowledgement message from the access relay station to acknowledge delivery of the at least one PDCP PDU to the user equipment. The access relay generates the user equipment delivery acknowledgement message upon reception from the user equipment of positive acknowledgement messages for all the RLC PDUs corresponding to the at least one PDCP PDU.

  • Publication number: 20120052795
Abstract: A relay method and device, wherein the control signal and the data signal which are in the same subframe are directly sent to a lower level device respectively by an upper level device and a relay function device. In one example, the relay function device transmits data signal using subscriber special reference signal to make the lower level device estimate an access channel correctly; in another example, the relay function device carries out precoding of the data signal correlative with the access channel so as to cancel the influence of the access channel, thereby make the lower level device receive data signal correctly. Retransmission control signaling is sent to the lower level device in each subframe by the upper level device to ensure the fixed sequential relationship of feedback retransmission.

  • Publication number: 20110292866
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and a device for adjusting the sleep mode of a mobile station in order to solve the problem in current multi-hop relay systems of long time delays in data transmission caused when data packets have to wait for the next listening window to reach the mobile station because of packet errors. Wherein, a relay apparatus judges whether the previous hop network apparatus needs to retransmit data packets to the mobile station; when the previous hop network apparatus needs to retransmit data packets to the mobile station, the relay apparatus transmits to the mobile station the adjustment related information for adjusting the sleep mode of the mobile station. The mobile station adjusts the sleep mode according to the adjustment related information. Preferably, the adjustment related information comprises indicating information for indicating that the mobile station is in triggered listening status within predetermined time interval.

  • Publication number: 20110038345
Abstract: To address the drawbacks of the current bandwidth requesting and allocation in the wireless broadband access network, the present invention proposes a technical solution of fast bandwidth requesting and allocation, wherein the MS sends a bandwidth allocation request message to the BS for only once, and the interactions between the BS and the MS are decreased so as to increase the efficiency of bandwidth requesting and allocation, effectively shorten the transmission waiting time of traffic data, and especially improve the support for latency-sensitive data traffic. Due to the fact that the interactions between the BS and the MS are decreased, various processing resources in the BS and the MS are spared.

  • Patent number: 7890554
Abstract: A method, system and apparatus for exporting file systems without having to mount them first are provided. Most Unix-based servers usually mount some system operation critical files at startup. Thus, directories have to be mounted. One or more of these directories are usually used as mount points for mounting other file systems when needed. An extended attribute file is used to provide all information needed to export a file system. Thus, a server need not mount a file system to obtain this information. That is on startup, a server needs only refer to these extended attribute files to obtain the information needed to export the file systems.
