The time-domain signal is replicated to obtain N time-domain signals. An operation is performed on each of the N time-domain signals based on a corresponding window function to obtain N windowed time-domain signals. The N windowed time-domain signals are separately converted to obtain N frequency-domain signals. An RB corresponding to an interference frequency is determined.     Abstract: Hybrid use of dual policies is provided to improve a communication system. In a multiple access scenario, when an inactive user equipment (UE) transitions to an active state, it may be become a burden to a radio cell on which it was previously camping. In some embodiments, hybrid load balancing is provided using a hierarchical machine learning paradigm based on reinforcement learning in which an LSTM generates a goal for one policy influencing cell reselection so that another policy influencing handover over active UEs can be assisted. The communication system as influenced by the policies is modeled as a Markov decision process (MDP). The policies controlling the active UEs and inactive UEs are coupled, and measureable system characteristics are improved. In some embodiments, policy actions depend at least in part on energy saving.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing an improved thin film composite solid electrolyte is provided. The method includes spray coating an aqueous suspension of ceramic particles onto a substrate to form a ceramic thin film. The film is sintered to form a porous ceramic structure having an interconnected necked morphology that defines cavities. The cavities are backfilled with an polymer electrolyte, for example a crosslinkable poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)-based polymer electrolyte. The resulting thin film composite solid electrolyte is highly ionically conductive and mechanically robust with good manufacturability, particularly suitable for, but not limited to lithium metal batteries. The present method represents a departure from conventional mixing-then-casting methods and instead includes the fabrication of a solid electrolyte having a high ceramic volume fraction, high ionic conductivity, low thickness, and good chemical stability with metallic lithium.
