  • Publication number: 20140361366
Abstract: A lateral double diffusion metal-oxide-semiconductor (LDMOS) transistor is provided. The LDMOS transistor includes a semiconductor substrate having a well region and a drain region in the well region. The LDMOS transistor also includes at least one drifting region in the well region and an annular source region in the drifting region surrounding the drain region. Further, the LDMOS transistor includes at least one annular isolation structure surrounding the drain region in the drifting region. Further, the LDMOS transistor also includes an annular gate dielectric layer on the well region and an annular gate on the annular gate dielectric layer.

  • Patent number: 7925365
Abstract: To assess the sufficiency of a plurality of machines for processing a number of items, machine availability information indicative of availability of the machines for processing the items, machine capacity information indicative of a capacity of each of the machines for processing the items, and machine preference information indicative of a preference of each of the machines for processing the items are obtained. A capacity constraint, such as an upper limit of items to be processed during a time interval, is determined based on the machine availability information, machine capacity information and machine preference information. At least some of the machines are allocated to process at least some of the items based on the machine availability information, machine capacity information and machine preference information, subject to the capacity constraint. The resulting rough-cut capacity plan may be used to balance available capacity against required capacity.

  • Patent number: 7174232
Abstract: To schedule the release of jobs from a pool of pending jobs, machine information and information about items to be processed are used to determine available machine capacity. Available machine capacity is allocated to jobs subject to multiple job release constraints. Allocation may be performed first for any pending jobs which were partially released during a previous time interval, and then to new jobs in decreasing order of determined job rank. If different operative constraints dictate different numbers of units of a job to be released, the minimum number of units meeting each constraint may be released. After the number of units to be released has been determined for a job, machine information is updated to account for available capacity consumed by the release of the selected number of units of the job. Updated information may be used for job release scheduling of the next job.

  • Publication number: 20050145929
Abstract: An EEPROM integrated circuit structure. The structure has a substrate that includes a surface region. Preferably, the surface region is provided within a first cell region. The structure also has a gate dielectric layer of first thickness overlying the surface of the substrate region and a select gate overlying a first portion of the gate dielectric layer. A floating gate is overlying a second portion of the gate dielectric layer and is coupled to the select gate. An insulating layer is overlying the floating gate. A control gate is overlying the insulating layer and is coupled to the floating gate. A tunnel window provided in a stripe configuration is formed within a portion of the gate dielectric layer. The portion of the gate dielectric layer is characterized by a second thickness, which is less than the first thickness.

  • Patent number: 5851369
Abstract: A sensor having a working electrode, a solid electrolyte and a counter electrode forming an electrolytic cell within a protective casing is provided. The sensor is utilized for monitoring the concentration of a specific constituent within a sample fluid by measuring the electrical potential difference between the electrode exposed to the sample fluid, which is the working electrode, and the counter electrode, which is exposed to a reference fluid. A protective casing shields the electrolytic cell from the sample fluid and access to the working electrode is provided by sample fluid ports provided in the protective casing. To minimize the surface area of the working electrode exposed to the sample fluid, a restricter is placed in the channel defined by the protective casing and the working electrode.
