Abstract: An electrical connector comprises an insulative housing extending in a horizontal direction and a plurality of conductive terminals retained in the insulative housing. The electrical connector is provided with a first receiving cavity and a second receiving cavity which are arranged in an up-and-down arrangement in a vertical direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction. Each conductive terminals comprises a first contact portion extending upwardly into the first receiving cavity and a second contact portion extending downwardly into the second receiving cavity. The conductive terminals are used to electrically connect a pair of first and second electrical components which are respectively inserted into the first and second receiving cavity via the first and second contact portions. The electrical connector is provided with the receiving cavity for inserting the second electrical component, thereby facilitating the assembly of the second electrical component and the electrical connector.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for feeding electronic components for insertion onto circuit boards, the apparatus comprising: a vibratory bowl configured for receiving electronic components and for lining up the electronic components onto a moveable conveyor, the vibratory bowl is configured for vibrating and guiding each of the electronic components towards an opening in the vibratory bowl where each of the electronic components is transferred to the conveyor; a component processing unit configured for checking operation of each of the electronic components lined up along the conveyor and for removing any defective electronic component failing the operation check; and a component feeder configured for transferring each of the electronic components that are non-defective to a machine for handling insertion of the electronic components onto circuit boards.

Abstract: A semiconductor element has a metal protective layer and a metal oxide protective layer formed on the substrate to prevent the Si substrate surface from forming an amorphous layer; and a transition layer to reduce lattice difference between the metal oxide protective layer and the III-IV-group buffer layer, thus improving crystal quality of the III-IV-group buffer layer. A fabrication method can avoid formation of amorphous layers and cracks surrounding the Si substrate surface. A light-emitting diode (LED) element or a transistor element can be formed by depositing a high-quality multi-layer buffer structure via PVD and forming a GaN, InGaN or AlGaN epitaxial layer thereon.

The thin film transistor array substrate comprises: a base substrate, and arranged on the base substrate, a common electrode and a plurality of subpixel units in a matrix. Two gate signal lines are provided between two adjacent rows of subpixel units, and two adjacent columns of subpixel units form a set of subpixel unit columns. Each set of the subpixel unit columns sharing a data signal line located between two columns of subpixel units. The thin film transistor array substrate further comprises: at least one metal wire arranged in a gap between adjacent sets of the subpixel unit columns and connected to a low-level potential. A projection of the metal wire on the base substrate and a projection of the common electrode on the base substrate have an overlapping region.

Also disclosed are articles comprising the composition. A method to degrade the article includes exposing the article to a fluid at a temperature of about 25° C. to about 300° C.

Abstract: The invention generally relates to systems and methods for analyzing a sample from a surface. In certain aspects, the invention provides systems that include a sample introduction member that has an inlet, an outlet, and an opening along a wall of the sample introduction member. The sample introduction member may be configured such that the opening couples with a surface that includes a sample in a manner in which molecules of the sample enter the sample introduction member via the opening and exit the sample introduction member via the outlet. A mass spectrometer is configured to receive the molecules of the sample.

Abstract: The present invention relates to kits and methods of modifying the prokaryotic genome a Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR)-Cas system that utilized one nicking Cas nuclease and crRNAs. The kid and methods delete or replace portions of the prokaryotic genome. In some embodiments, an entire gene or multiple genes may be deleted or replaced.

The insulating housing has a base portion and a mating tongue extending forwardly from the base portion. The metallic shell surrounds the meting tongue to form a receiving cavity opening forwardly. Abstract: Disclosed is a compatible and magnetic absorption-type electronic building block, which comprises a circuit board, a plug connector and a socket connector, wherein the plug connector and the socket connector both comprise an insulation body and a conductive terminal, and the insulation body is arranged with a mounting body and two support feet. A bottom of the mounting body is arranged with an open region, and the mounting body is provided with a butting panel, a top panel and a rear cover. The electronic building block of the invention can not only implement electronic circuit module splicing, but also implement a complex three-dimensional modeling function due to the above specially designed structure. Moreover, the electronic building block can be seamlessly spliced to a common plastic building block in a market.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a hemiaminal dynamic covalent network (HDCN) comprises reacting a diamine and formaldehyde in the presence of a reaction medium comprising a polar solvent and a nonpolar solvent at a temperature of about 15° C. to about 100° C. to form the HDCN. A composition comprising the produced HDCN can be molded to form various articles comprising poly(hexahydrotriazine)s.

Abstract: A system is described for providing a virtual environment corresponding to a scene from nature. The virtual environment can be used to present performance metrics to a user. In some examples, the virtual environment can be a pond where performance metrics are represented using lily pads. The visual appearance of the lily pad can be dependent on metadata of the corresponding performance metric and the lily pads can be grouped according to how the performance metrics are grouped in the database.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a method and system to collect information for a specific topic. During operation, the system may receive a dialog request sent by a client. The system may then determine a specific topic corresponding to the dialog request based on keywords included in the dialog request. The system may send questions formulated in a dialog framework to the client one by one according to the dialog framework preset for the specific topic. The system may receive a reply provided by the client to at least one question. The system may then create a record corresponding at least one of the questions and key information in the reply to generate an information collection package for the specific topic.

Abstract: A method for mining a churn factor causing user churn for a network application includes: calculating, according to a data universe of churned users, a proportion of a quantity of churned users under each user operation scenario where user churn occurs for a network application in a total quantity of the churned users, and determining multiple user operation scenarios corresponding to multiple proportions sequentially placed in foremost positions in a list of all calculated proportions of user operation scenarios ranked in a descending order; determining churn factors of the multiple user operation scenarios; determining, according to the proportions of the churned users under the multiple user operation scenarios in all the churned users, influence weight values of the churn factors; and determining, when the influence weight value of a churn factor is greater than or equal to the threshold, that the churn factor is a major churn factor.
