    Abstract: The present invention provides an image display apparatus and an image display method adapted for the apparatus. The apparatus stores a plurality of image files and metadata of each of the image files. The metadata includes a selection count and a weighted value of the image file. The weighted value is calculated according to the selection count. The image display method includes steps of: receiving image selection signals; receiving an image display signal; reading the weighted values of selected image files to generate a list in an order according to the weighted values; updating the selection counts of the selected image files; calculating the weighted values of the selected image files according to the updated selection counts, and storing the updated selection counts and the calculated weighted values as metadata; and displaying the selected image files according to the list.

Further, the photochromic materials according to certain non-limiting embodiments disclosed herein may display hyperchromic absorption of electromagnetic radiation as compared to conventional photochromic materials and/or may have a closed-form absorption spectrum that is bathochromically shifted as compared to conventional photochromic materials.     Abstract: Methods and compositions are provided for the identification of expression signatures in ER+ breast cancer cases, where the signatures correlate with responsiveness, or lack thereof, to tamoxifen treatment. The signature profiles are identified based upon sampling of reference breast tissue samples from independent cases of breast cancer and provide a reliable set of molecular criteria for predicting the efficacy of treating a subject with ER+ breast cancer with tamoxifen. Additional methods and compositions are provided for predicting tamoxifen responsiveness in cases of ER+ breast cancer by use of three biomarkers. Two biomarkers display increased expression correlated with tamoxifen response while the third biomarker displays decreased expression correlated with tamoxifen response.

    Abstract: A method for minimizing the message flow wait time for management user exits in a message broker application. A message broker application processes a request in a request and a response message flow. The request message flow generates a request identifier, collects information about the request message flow, and stores the request identifier and information in a global data map. The response message flow uses the request identifier to access the map and read the collected information without having to acquire a lock on the map. The response message flow also collects information about the response message flow, and generates management information about the request based on the information about the request message flow and the information about the response message flow.     Abstract: The invention relates to a shake responsive handheld device. The handheld device comprises a motion sensor, a storage unit, and a processor. The motion sensor detects a shaking motion of the handheld device initiated by a user. The storage unit stores a plurality of first type media files and a relation table. The first type media files are used for reproducing a sound of tumbling dice in a dice shaker and the relation table is used for defining a plurality of shaking levels, each of which corresponds with one of the first type media files. The processor, in response to signals from the motion sensor, monitors the shaking level of the shaking motion to identify one of the first type media files corresponding to the shake level according to the relation table and plays the identified first type media file until the shaking level changes.

The heat exchanger may be positioned within the probe handle, within the cannula, or at least partially within the balloon. The heat transfer fluid of this cryoablation system preferably has a freezing point lower than about ?110° C. and a boiling point greater than about 50° C.

    Abstract: A system has been found which monitors and measures the concentration of polymer dispersant in industrial water systems, such as open recirculating, cooling tower water. The system comprises a polymer concentration monitor which is an in-line analyzer, and which has the ability to measure more than one characteristic or component at a time. The polymer concentration monitor is comprised of a filter module and a detection module. The incoming water first passes through the filter module and then on to the detection module and then out of the system. According to one embodiment, the detection unit comprises a sample preparation unit, pumps, an optical measurement unit, a temperature measurement and control unit and an electronics unit. The optical measurement unit is comprised of a single or multiple photo optical components. The presence of more than one photo optical component provides the ability to perform more than one measurement at one time.
