Abstract: A method for processing data between host computer and CPLD provides a host computer, a circuit board comprising a UART unit, a pre-debugged hardware, and a CPLD. The UART unit communicates with the host computer via UART. The method further provides the CPLD coupled between the UART unit and the pre-debugged hardware and allows the CPLD to receive data from the host computer via the UART unit and to analyze the data. According to the method, the CPLD debugs the pre-debugged hardware according to the analyzed data and obtains a result of debugging. The CPLD outputs the result and allows the CPLD to transmit the result to the host computer via the UART unit. A system using the method is also provided.

Abstract: A multi-position conversion device and a conversion socket with the multi-position conversion device; the first pin, the second pin, the first connecting sheet and the second connecting sheet are installed together onto the main frame to modularize and integrate the conversion device; therefore, only one main frame is needed to complete the installation of the first pin, the second pin, the first connecting sheet and the second connecting sheet, and this can effectively decrease the volume of the multi-position conversion device and thus decrease the volume and weight of the whole conversion socket, prevent the conversion socket from sagging due to gravity and thus increase the corresponding user experience and safety; meanwhile, after being modularized, the multi-position conversion device is installed directly into the housing and thus can decrease the assembling steps, reduce the assembling difficulty and finally improve the assembling efficiency.

An operating unit has a driving member to actuate the adjustment mechanism, and a handle portion bending from the driving member. The driving member is movable between non-operative and operative positions. In the non-operative position, the handle portion abuts against the headrest, and the driving member is inoperative to actuate the adjustment mechanism. In the operative position, the handle portion protrudes outward from the headrest, and the driving member is able to actuate the adjustment mechanism.

Abstract: The methods, compositions, and kits of the disclosure provide a novel approach for a whole genome, unbiased DNA analysis method that can be performed on limited amounts of DNA. can be used to analyze DNA to determine its modification status. Aspects of the disclosure relate to a method for amplifying bisulfite-treated deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) molecules comprising: (a) ligating an adaptor to the DNA molecules, wherein the adaptor comprises a RNA polymerase promoter comprising bisulfite-protected cytosines; (b) treating the ligated DNA molecules with bisulfite; (c) hybridizing the bisulfite-treated DNA molecules with a primer; (d) extending the hybridized primer to make double stranded DNA; and (e) in vitro transcribing the double-stranded DNA to make RNA.

Abstract: A method for preventing hijacking of a web page is provided. A HyperText Markup Language (HTML) source file is received from a web server in response to a HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) access request, the HTML source file being embedded with a script tag corresponding to script code for preventing HTTP hijacking. The script code for preventing HTTP hijacking is pulled from an antihijacking server according to the script tag. It is detected, based on the script code for preventing HTTP hijacking, whether a document object model (DOM) node used for HTTP hijacking exists in a DOM tree. The DOM node used for HTTP hijacking is hidden from a web page of a browser in response to detecting that the DOM node used for HTTP hijacking.

Abstract: A child safety seat includes a seat shell and a buffering part. The seat shell includes a backrest portion and two sidewalls, the backrest portion having a front surface facing forward that is suitable to provide support for a child's back, the two sidewalls being respectively disposed at a left and a right side of the seat shell for restricting sideways movements of a child who sits in the seat shell, one of the two sidewalls having a sidewall portion located in front of the front surface. A mobile device obtains an image captured by the mobile device, obtains a set of street view images, and obtains a first graph of the image captured by the mobile device and a plurality of second graphs of the set of the street view images. The first graph includes nodes representing interest points in the image captured by the mobile device, and the plurality of the second graphs includes nodes representing interest points in the set of the street view images. The mobile device determines a location of the mobile device, based on relevance between the first graph and the plurality of the second graphs.

Abstract: A system and method for protecting firmware of baseboard management controller (BMC) includes a serial peripheral interface read only memory device (SPI ROM) and a logic controlling unit. The SPI ROM includes first and second blocks, the first block stores a main program, and the second block stores backup program. The logic controlling unit includes a protecting module, a determining module, and a controlling module. The protecting module write-protects the main program and the backup program of the SPI ROM. The determining module determines whether the main program of the first block is altered or damaged when the main program is obtained by the BMC. If so, the controlling module invokes the backup program from the second block, and writes the backup program to the first block. A firmware protecting method is also provided.
