Abstract: A method of operating a vibrational energy harvesting system includes providing an energy harvester and an energy storage module. The energy storage module is coupled to the energy harvester to transfer energy to the energy storage module. The method also includes determining whether the energy transferred exceeds a predetermined threshold. The method further includes limiting the energy transferred to the energy storage module by a passive device when the energy transferred exceeds the predetermined threshold.

Abstract: The composition includes a vinyl-substituted polysiloxane having at least two vinyl groups, a hydrosilylation catalyst, a hydrosilyl-substituted polysiloxane having at least two silicon-hydride groups, and a phosphorous-containing flame retardant encapsulated in a crosslinked, nitrogen-containing polymer. The composition may be a two-part composition including a first part and a second part. The first part includes a vinyl-substituted polysiloxane, a hydrosilylation catalyst, and a phosphorous-containing flame retardant encapsulated in a crosslinked, nitrogen-containing polymer. Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and apparatus for determining a target anchor, a device and a storage medium. The method may include: extracting a plurality of feature maps of an original image using a feature extraction network; inputting the plurality of feature maps into a feature pyramid network to perform feature fusion, to obtain a plurality of fused feature maps; and using a region proposal network to implement operations as follows: determining an initial anchor of a network head using the fused feature map, based on a size of each fused feature map, and determining an offset parameter of the initial anchor, based on a ratio of the size of the fused feature map to the original image, and generating a plurality of candidate anchors in different directions, based on the offset parameter of the initial anchor.

Abstract: An adaptive prefetcher for a shared system cache of a processing system including multiple requestors having a cache miss monitor and a prefetch controller. The cache miss monitor monitors requests for information from memory and identifies one of the requestors for which an identified cache line is requested. The prefetch controller submits an adaptive request for a subsequent cache line. The subsequent cache line may be determined based on a latency comparison between a loop latency (LL) of the prefetch controller and a stream latency (SL) of the identified requestor. A latency memory may be included that stores stream latencies for the requestors. The latency comparison may be used to determine how many cache lines to skip relative to the identified cache line, such as according to SL*SK<LL?SL*(SK+1) in which SK is the number of cache lines to skip.

Abstract: A scheme for modifying an image is disclosed, which includes receiving a source image having a first image configuration; determining a second image configuration for a target image; providing the received source image to an AI engine trained to identify, based on a set of rules related to visual features, candidate regions from the source image; generating proposal images based on the candidate regions, respectively; determining, based on prior aesthetical evaluation data, an aesthetical value of each regional proposal image; and selecting, based on the determined aesthetical value of each regional proposal image, one of the regional proposal images as the target image; extracting, from the AI engine, the target image; and causing the target image to be displayed via a display of a user device.

A bit line communicates a modified pixel value. An analog memory cell including a first capacitor stores a first kernel weight of a first kernel in one of a plurality of kernel sets such that the pixel value is operated on by the first kernel weight to produce the modified pixel value. A charge connection connects the first capacitor to at least a second capacitor storing a second kernel weight of a related kernel of a second one of the plurality of kernel sets such that charge is shared between the first capacitor and at least the second capacitor to normalize the first kernel weight and the second kernel weight.

Abstract: Methods and systems of implementing a convolutional neural network are described. In an example, a structure may receive input signals and distribute the input signals to a plurality of unit cells. The structure may include a plurality of multi-kernel modules that may include a respective set of unit cells. A unit cell may correspond to an element of a kernel being implemented in the convolutional neural network and may include a storage component configured to store a weight of a corresponding element of the kernel. A first pass gate of the unit cell may be activated to pass a stored weight of the unit cell to a plurality of operation circuits in the corresponding unit cell, such that the stored weight may be applied to the input signals. The structure may generate a set of outputs based on the application of the stored weights to the input signals.

Abstract: Channel availability information associated with data traffic between a Master and a Slave within an interconnection network (“ICN”) in a System-on-Chip (“SoC”) is monitored by a channel performance monitor in order to improve the performance of the ICN. The channel availability information is fed back to certain Masters to control their data traffic into the ICN. The channel performance monitor monitors and evaluates the data traffic handled by switches within the ICN that can potentially interfere with communication paths between particular Masters and Slaves, and control the initiation of data traffic from predetermined Masters.
