    Abstract: A mechanism is provided for controlling a solid state storage device in which the solid state storage comprises erasable blocks each comprising a plurality of data write locations. Input data is stored in successive groups of data write locations, each group comprising write locations in a set of erasable blocks in each of a plurality of logical subdivisions of the solid state storage. The input data is error correction encoded such that each group contains an error correction code for the input data in that group. Metadata, indicating the location of input data in the solid state storage, is maintained in memory, An indication of validity of data stored in each data write location is also maintained, Prior to erasing a block, valid input data is recovered from the or each said group containing write locations in that block. The recovered data is then re-stored as new input data.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a single crystal growth method for a vertical high temperature and high pressure group III-V compound. A vertical high temperature and high pressure stove is capable of providing a group III element fusion zone with a temperature equal to or greater than that of a composition melting point and providing a group V element provision zone below the group III element fusion zone. The stove provides steam to the group III element fusion zone and the group V element provision zone at a temperature greater than evaporation temperature. The compound synthesis of a group III element and a group V element is completed in the group III element fusion zone, and an in-situ growth of single crystal is completed in the group III element fusion zone, thereby preventing the growth of the rich group III element and increasing the single crystal process efficiency.

The encoding is performed by constructing from the input data to be stored in each group a logical array of rows and columns of data symbols.     Abstract: The present invention relates to an extreme low formaldehyde emission UF resin with a novel structure, and a process for its preparation. This UF resin is produced from formaldehyde, urea, a long chain multi-aldehyde prepolymer, and some modifiers. Its process follows three steps: weak caustic, weak acid and weak caustic. By using this prepolymer, the modified UF resin has stable alkyl ether structure, and the residual aldehyde groups on the UF polymer chain could accelerate cross-linking instead of dissociative formaldehyde. The UF resin made from this invention has extreme low dissociative formaldehyde and simple technology. The boards produced from this resin have good physical performance and water resistance. Moreover, the formaldehyde emission of the boards is extreme low, achieving Japan F???? grade, the average emission value?0.3 mg/L.
