    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a metal-resin composite and a method of preparing the same. The metal includes titanium or titanium alloy, the composite includes a metal substrate and a resin layer coated on at least a part of a surface of the metal substrate, recesses are distributed on the part of the surface of the metal substrate coated with the resin layer, a part of resin of the resin layer extends to fill in the recesses, and a concentration of an oxygen element on the surface of the metal substrate is greater than 1 wt %. The method includes dipping a metal substrate in an etching solution containing at least one alkali metal hydroxide so as to form recesses on the surface of the metal substrate, and injecting a resin onto the surface of the after-surface-treatment metal substrate to form a resin layer. The metal-resin composite of the present disclosure is suitable for a shell of an electronic product.

    Abstract: A method of converting lignin to phenolic compounds and dicarboxylates in high yield is described. The method involves the use of peroxy acids to react with lignin at a moderated treatment conditions. The peroxy acids can be used along or in combination of other catalysts that have the capability to lower the molecular weight of lignin. A phenolic compounds yield is achieved (>60%) and these phenolic compounds represents high value precursors for various applications include but not limited to antioxidants, health improvement agents, anticorrosive agents, liquid fuel components and performance enhancing agents, resin and adhesives. Dicarboxylic acids can be used for polymer applications or hydrodeoxygenation to hydrocarbon fuel.

An application executing on a client device samples data related to various aspects of the application, generates a log file containing the sample data and transmits the log file to the server. The application samples the data based on specified criteria, e.g., specified events, specified actions of a user of the client device, at a specified sampling rate. The framework enables controlling the sampling of such data from the server. The framework can be used to configure various parameters of the sampling, including a number of users to be sampled, a set of events to be sampled, a sampling rate for the events, etc. After the configuration is determined, the server transmits a configuration file to the client device, which performs the sampling based on the configuration in the configuration file.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing TDI (toluene diisocyanate) isocyanurate by using TDI, monohydric alcohol, solvent, antioxidant, catalyst and termination agent as the raw materials. The properties of the isocyanurate are improved by the process comprising the modification by monohydric alcohol and addition of the catalyst and solvent in several stages at an appropriate temperature. By adding the catalyst and solvent in batches at the condition of controlling both NCO % and the viscosity in the preparation process, and adjusting the solid content at each step, the resulting TDI isocyanurate has low content of free TDI, high xylene tolerance, small product color number, and high performance stability, which makes the product obtained by the isocyanurate have good application properties such as the drying, polishing and extinction properties of coating film, and such isocyanurate has good compatibility with other components.
