The bearer setup method includes these steps: a packet data network gateway (PGW) obtains first quality of service (QoS) information and a first bearer identifier (ID), and sets up a bearer between the PGW and a radio access network (RAN) according to the first QoS information, where the bearer is associated with the first bearer ID; the RAN sets up a radio bearer (RB) with a user equipment (UE) according to second QoS information associated with the first QoS information, where the RB is associated with a second bearer ID associated with the first bearer ID.

Abstract: A service control method for a machine type communications device and a related apparatus and system are disclosed. The service control method for the machine type communications device may include: receiving, by an access-network network element, a service request message from a core-network network element, where the service request message carries device type indication information of a user equipment (UE), and the device type indication information of the UE is used to indicate whether the UE is a machine type communications device; determining a device type of the UE according to the device type indication information of the UE; and if a current load of the access-network network element exceeds a set threshold, determining, according to the device type of the UE, whether to execute a service operation corresponding to the service request message.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for identifying a UE in an SAE network, and an MME are provided herein. The method includes: receiving an SAE-TMSI which is allocated to a UE that accesses an SAE network and includes at least: a pool-ID, an MME-ID, and a UE temporary identifier; using the SAE-TMSI to temporarily identify the UE in the SAE network. The apparatus includes: a receiving unit and a temporary identifying unit. The MME includes a temporary identifier allocating unit. Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for reading a system message, including: receiving, by a terminal device, a paging message containing a system message state indication in a discontinuous reception (DRX) period, the terminal device includes a terminal device of which the DRX period is larger than a broadcast control channel (BCCH) modification period; determining, by the terminal device and according to the system message state indication in the paging message, that a system message state changes; reading and recording, by the terminal device, a system message corresponding to a current BCCH modification period, or reading and recording a system message corresponding to a next BCCH modification period immediately adjacent to the BCCH modification period; and communicating by the terminal device according to the read and recorded system message. Thus, the electric quantity of a battery can be saved, so that a UE can reduce power consumption.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for obtaining an Internet protocol header replacement mapping, which belong to the field of communications technologies. The method includes: obtaining, by a network node, fixed IP header information which is bound to a UE, where the network node is an MME or an eNB or a PGW or an SGW; establishing an IP header replacement mapping according to the fixed IP header information, where the IP header replacement mapping is correspondence between the fixed IP header information and an index or a bearer; and performing data transmission with the UE according to the IP header replacement mapping. In the present invention, the network node establishes the IP header replacement mapping according to the obtained fixed IP header information which is bound to the UE, the method is more flexible.

By using the method, the apparatus, and the system according to the embodiments of the present invention, a signaling interaction process for alarm event handling in an emergency case is shortened, thereby greatly shortening a communications delay of a cellular network communications system and greatly reducing system load.

Abstract: A method and system for transferring user equipment (UE) in a mobile communication system are disclosed. According to the method, a source core (CN) network determines to transfer a UE that it serves and sends a transfer instruction carrying UE transfer restriction information to the UE; an access network receives a transfer request that is sent by the UE according to the restriction information carried in the transfer instruction; the access network selects a target CN entity that is different from the source CN entity for the UE; and the UE is transferred to the target CN entity. The method and system provided by the present invention are applicable to user transferring between CN entities in any communication network. The transferring is initiated by a network side entity, and a more preferable CN entity is selected for the UE to provide a better service.

Abstract: A method and system for transferring user equipment (UE) in a mobile communication system are disclosed. Abstract: In a method for accessing a legacy wireless network, a radio access network (RAN) node in the legacy wireless network receives an access message sent by a User Equipment (UE) attempting to access the legacy wireless network. The access message includes mobility management entity (MME) information identifying an MME accessed by the UE in an evolved network. The MME information is added by the UE from a temporary identity (ID) allocated by the MME to a first P-Temporary Mobile Station Identity (P-TMSI) in the access message. The RAN node selects a corresponding Serving GPRS Support Node (SGSN) in the legacy wireless network for the UE according to the first P-TMSI in the access message.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for controlling packet access, a network side device, a terminal device and a communication system. The method includes: generating an access trigger message, where the access trigger message carries a temporary mobile group identity TMGI allocated to a user equipment UE; and sending the access trigger message to packet trigger an access operation of the UE for the TMGI. Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a machine to machine service management device, a network device, a method processing service and system. An MSMC is added between an MTC server and a 3GPP network to perform service processing, and during the service processing, after a trigger receiving unit in the MSMC receives a triggering request message, a session establishing unit establishes a corresponding service session according to information of a requested group service, and a request sending and establishing unit sends a service request to a BM/SC device to establish a corresponding service session and establish a link with an MTC device. Therefore, security of a network system of the MTC application is improved.
