    Abstract: This invention relates to the nano metal material preparation technology field, especially to the preparation method of one kind, of nano-rings. This invention uses polyvinyl pyrrolidone of different molecular weights as surface-protecting agent and dissolves silver nitrate in the low molecular weight polyvinyl pyrrolidone ethylene glycol solvent under frozen conditions. Frozen conditions can slow down or inhibit silver ions from being reduced to zero-valent silver, to generate silver nanoparticles coated and complexed with both low and high molecular weight polyvinyl pyrrolidone. Polyvinyl pyrrolidone of different molecular weight shows different selective absorption of silver, and different stability makes it affect the speed of growth of silver atoms along different crystal faces to different extent, which is better for silver nano-ring production, with higher yield.

    Abstract: An immobilized selenium body, made from carbon and selenium and optionally sulfur, makes selenium more stable, requiring a higher temperature or an increase in kinetic energy for selenium to escape from the immobilized selenium body and enter a gas system, as compared to selenium alone. Immobilized selenium localized in a carbon skeleton can be utilized in a rechargeable battery. Immobilization of the selenium can impart compression stress on both the carbon skeleton and the selenium. Such compression stress enhances the electrical conductivity in the carbon skeleton and among the selenium particles and creates an interface for electrons to be delivered and or harvested in use of the battery. A rechargeable battery made from immobilized selenium can be charged or discharged at a faster rate over conventional batteries and can demonstrate excellent cycling stability.

On a molar ratio basis, the ratio of the glucuronic acid group:the N-acetaminogalactose group:the fucose group is 1:(0.8-1.2):(0.6-1.2). In the structure of the low-molecular-weight holothurian glycosaminoglycan, 10-30% of glucuronic acid groups are modified, on the 2-position, with a sulfate ester group, and the rest are hydroxyl groups; and a proportion of 10-30% of fucose groups is modified, on the 2-position, with an acetyl ester group, and the rest are hydroxyl or sulfate ester groups.
