  • Patent number: 10035510
Abstract: A controller may indicate a low-traction mode of a vehicle when a longitudinal tracking accumulation exceeds a first threshold value and a lateral response accumulation exceeds a second threshold value. The longitudinal tracking accumulation may measure a tally of activation of a traction control system over time. The lateral response accumulation may measure a comparison of the vehicle yaw-rate to a driver-desired model-based prediction of the yaw-rate. The controller may indicate the low-traction mode by providing a recommendation to switch to the low-traction mode in a human-machine interface screen of the vehicle, or by automatically adjusting the operational mode of at least one electronic control unit of the vehicle to implement the low-traction mode.

  • Patent number: 10033816
Abstract: A provider network for providing continuous workflow service for an open-ended number of workflows using non-persistent threads. In some cases, the provider network includes a workflow handling service and a workflow evaluation service. The workflow handling service may receive indications of task completion events related to respective workflows, and in turn may send non-blocking requests for workflow decisions from the workflow evaluation service. In generating a workflow decision, the workflow evaluation service may determine resources for executing a workflow evaluation thread for generating the workflow decision. Further, a given workflow evaluation thread may determine a workflow decision without relying on a previously stored state for a state machine corresponding to the workflow. In this way, a given workflow decision may be determined on different allocated resources at different points in time in maintaining the workflow.

  • Patent number: 9974587
Abstract: A PZT transducer-horn integrated ultrasonic driving structure consists of a nut, a bolt, a left PZT circular stack, a flange, a right PZT truncated stack and a horn. The horn, the right PZT truncated stack, the flange and the left PZT circular stack are arranged in sequence and connected via the bolt and then fastened via the nut; the right PZT transducer is a truncated cone-shaped stack formed by PZT circular plates; and the right PZT transducer and the horn are integrated to form the ultrasonic driving structure. Considering the dimension of PZT on two sides of the flange and the horn meet the requirements for ultrasonic vibration node and antinode, the dimension of round contour of the circular PZT stack and flange is reduced to increase the thickness of the truncated PZT stack and flange.
