Abstract: A method, system, and device for reporting User Agent Profile (UAP) information are disclosed. In the embodiments of the invention, UAP information is associated with an attribute group label, and a client identifies the attribute group label and reports UAP attribute information associated with the identified attribute group label to a server side according to the identified attribute group label, thereby avoiding reporting all UAP attribute information and further saving network resources. Moreover, in the case that a change occurs in the value of a device capability UAP attribute of a terminal or in the attribute group label of the server side, if such a change affects an existing service, the client only needs to send the changed device capability UAP information to the server side, thereby further avoiding transmitting a large volume of UAP information and further saving the network resources.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a method, system and apparatus for task processing in device management so that a scheduled task may be triggered and executed normally, according to a predetermined triggering condition when the execution of the task is affected by a state of a terminal device or an operation of the terminal device. The method according to the invention includes steps of determining a scheduled task when the execution of the scheduled task is affected by a state of a terminal device or an operation of the terminal device; and prompting a user to select a processing manner for the scheduled task, and processing the affected scheduled task according to the user's selection, or processing the scheduled task in a predetermined processing manner.

Abstract: An OMA DM-based method for executing a scheduled task, includes the steps of: storing terminal resource capabilities required for executing each scheduled task in a terminal device; and executing the scheduled task after the terminal device determines that the current resource capabilities are sufficient for executing the scheduled task while it is ready to execute the scheduled task. An OMA DM-based terminal device for practicing this method includes a primary storing unit for storing the terminal resource capabilities, a judging unit for determining whether current resource capabilities of the terminal device meet the terminal resource capabilities that are required for executing the scheduled task, and a primary executing unit for executing the scheduled when the judging unit determines that the current resource capabilities are sufficient.

Abstract: A method for managing communication terminal device includes sending a device management command which includes a control instruction for an activity state of a designated function, to a terminal; and performing, by the terminal, an operation on the activity state of the designated function according to the control instruction. The invention further provides a corresponding communication terminal and system. Using the present invention may avoid running the service client-end function in the communication terminal all the time, saving electric energy or terminal resources.

Abstract: A method and a system for implementing interconversion between a ring back tone and a ringing tone are disclosed. The method for converting the ring back tone into the ringing tone includes: configuring ring back tone information for a user according to a ring back tone configuration request; obtaining relevant data of corresponding ringtone information according to the ring back tone information configured, and sending the relevant data to a user terminal. The method for converting the ringing tone into the ring back tone includes: generating a ring back tone configuration request according to ringing tone configuration information, where a user terminal configures the ringing tone with the ringing tone configuration information; and configuring the ring back tone corresponding to the ringing tone to be a ring back tone information of the user terminal according to the ringing tone configuration information in the ring back tone configuration request.

Abstract: A method for monitoring and upgrading software in device management includes: monitoring use frequency of software of terminal equipment and storing use frequency information of software; and providing the use frequency information of software to a device management server. Further, a method for upgrading software in device management, includes: monitoring use frequency information of software on terminal equipment and providing corresponding use frequency information of the software to a device management server; and by the device management server, determining by using the use frequency information of software to be upgraded, whether the software to be upgraded satisfies conditions for upgrading, and if the software to be upgraded satisfies the conditions for upgrading, delivering operations for upgrading the software to upgrade the software; otherwise, abandoning the upgrading of the software.

Abstract: A method for executing a management operation by a terminal in a communications system. The method comprises the followings: The terminal receives the management operation commands that indicate the operation to target operation nodes in the device capability management object and operates them. The said operation initiates the process for executing the corresponding device capability management operation, then the said management operation transfers the device capability status. Also, the corresponding terminal and system are disclosed. The present invention can centrally manage and control the terminal capability.

Abstract: A method for maintaining a Device Capability Management Object (DCMO) which relates to technical field of Open Mobile Alliance Device Management (OMA DM), including detecting changed capability information in a terminal device by the terminal device, and maintaining a corresponding Device Capability Management Object in a Device Management tree in the terminal device based on the detected changed capability information, is used to overcome that wireless transmission resources are wasted and processing payloads of a Device Management Server (DMS) system are increased when updating and maintaining the corresponding Device Capability Management Object once capability information in the terminal device changes.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a system for management of terminal devices. The core of the present invention is as follows: a terminal device monitors and acquires events generated in the terminal device under off-line conditions, and reports the events to a management side, after establishing communication with the management side. The aforementioned management side then performs management of the terminal device. With the present invention, the terminal events can be monitored, and the terminal device can be managed based on the monitored terminal events. Thus, the adverse impact of the terminal events on the terminal device may be prevented and eliminated in a timely fashion. This reduces the probability of equipment errors, and thus improves the service quality of the service provider.

Abstract: The present invention provides an improved method, device and system for task processing in a device management. In the present invention, when the current state or the operation of the terminal device is interrupted by an abnormal condition, the improved method includes the steps of checking if any scheduler task exists; prompting the user to select the processing procedure for the scheduler task based on the types of the scheduler task, or processing the impacted scheduler task based on user's selection or processing the scheduler task based on a predetermined process procedure.
