Abstract: The present invention discloses a policy control method and system, and a relevant apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a policy decision apparatus, a control policy request sent by a gateway device, where the control policy request carries a subscriber identifier; sending, by the policy decision apparatus, a session request message carrying the subscriber identifier to a charging system; receiving, by the policy decision apparatus, a response message; receiving, by the policy decision apparatus, a notification message sent through an established session by the charging system, and generating a service data flow control policy according to information of an occurred charging relevant event; and sending, by the policy decision apparatus, the control policy to the gateway device. The method may implement, based on charging relevant information of a subscriber, policy control of a data flow, flexibility is desirable, and service experience of the subscriber is good.

Abstract: A method and a device for terminal device management based on right control are provided. The method includes the following steps. A Get command on an access control list (ACL) of a managed node in a device management tree (DMT) from a device management (DM) server is received, where the Get command includes a Unified Resource Identity (URI) of the managed node. It is determined whether the DM server has a direct right of executing the Get command on the managed node. The Get command is processed when it is determined that the DM server has the direct right of executing the Get command on the managed node. The method and the device simplify the complexity of right management, and reduce the number of times of message interaction between the DM server and a terminal device, thereby improving the efficiency and performance of terminal device management.

Abstract: A policy decision method is provided, including receiving, by a policy and charging rules function (PCRF) device, a first user policy request for a first user sent by a gateway device, determining, by the PCRF device, that the first user and a second user share a usage quota, and the second user is an owner user of the usage quota, acquiring, by the PCRF device, a current second user counter status of a second user counter of the second user, and generating, by the PCRF device, a first user control policy according to the current second user counter status and sending the first user control policy to the gateway device. The present invention can implement sharing of accumulated data among users, reduces processing pressure of the charging system, and decreases a performance loss of the charging system.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an application charging method. The method includes receiving, by a CTF device, a charging rule of an application from a PCRF device, wherein the charging rule of the application carries an application identifier and charging rule parameters of the application, executing the charging rule of the application, and detecting, according to an application identifier, a flow of the application transmitted on one or more bearers, sending, by the CTF device according to charging rule parameters of the application, a charging session establishment request to a charging system and establishing a charging session of the application, collecting charging information about the detected flow of the application, and sending the collected charging information about the flow of the application to the charging system by using the charging session of the application.

Abstract: A method, a terminal, an apparatus, and a system for device management (DM) are provided. Specifically, a DM terminal, a DM apparatus, method for managing the terminal device are provided. The method for managing the terminal device includes the following steps: adding, by a DM terminal device, management nodes in a DM tree of the DM terminal device; and recording, by the DM terminal device, MOs types supported by the DM terminal device in the management nodes added in the DM tree of the DM terminal device. Therefore, the problem that the server does not know the DM applications supported by the terminal, and in the method, a specific management operation is delivered to make the management of the server more flexible and effective.

Thereby, accurate charging can be performed for the data flow and the application.

Abstract: A method, system, and device for network selection are provided. The method for network selection includes the following steps. After network selection is triggered, a network selection list stored in a Universal Integrated Circuit Card (UICC) and a network selection list stored in a Mobile Equipment (ME) are read, where the UICC is embedded in the ME and accessible to the ME. Network selection is performed according to the network selection list stored in the UICC and the network selection list stored in the ME. Also, a method for network selection through a network selection policy is added and methods for implementing a type and a data structure of a network selection policy as well as a method for network selection based on a network selection policy are provided, so that network selection can be controlled more flexibly, a terminal can locate a target network faster, and time consumed for the network selection is reduced.

Abstract: A method for installing software components includes: a terminal receives a software component package delivered by a Device Management (DM) server directly or a download address of the component package and a command instructing to download delivered by the DM server, where the software component package contains more than one software component; when the terminal receives the download address and the command instructing to download, the terminal downloads the software component package from the download address; the terminal installs the obtained software component package locally and generates management nodes and subnodes of the management nodes corresponding to the software components under a Deployed subtree of the Software Component Management Object (SCOMO) of the terminal. With the present invention, the process of installing software component is more reasonable. A system and apparatus for installing software components are also provided.

Abstract: The present invention provides a charging control method, a charging trigger apparatus, and an online charging system. The method includes: generating, by a CTF, a resource quota request according to a trigger condition; and sending the resource quota request to an online charging system (OCS), so that the OCS determines a quota type and number after receiving the resource quota request, and allocates a quota for the resource quota request according to the quota type and number determined by the OCS, where the quota type and number are determined by the OCS according to the resource quota request. In the foregoing method, a problem that in the prior art, a charging control error occurs due to different determining bodies of a quota type is solved.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of mobile communication technologies, and provides a method for locating operation nodes in a communication system. The method includes using an identifier in the received message to obtain an adjusted path from the root node of the management tree of the client to the standard management object corresponding to the identifier, using the message to obtain a relative path between the target operation node and the root node of the standard management object on the management tree, concatenating the adjusted path with the relative path, and locating the target operation node according to the concatenated path. The present disclosure also provides a system for locating operation nodes, a client for locating operation nodes in a communication system, and a server for performing management operations for clients.

Abstract: The present invention provides an improved method and device for task processing in a device management. When the current state or the operation of the terminal device is interrupted by an abnormal condition, the method includes checking if any scheduler task exists; prompting the user to select the processing procedure for the scheduler task based on the types of the scheduler task, or processing the impacted scheduler task based on user's selection or processing the scheduler task based on a predetermined process procedure.

Abstract: A method, system, and device for reporting User Agent Profile (UAP) information are disclosed. In the embodiments of the invention, UAP information is associated with an attribute group label, and a client identifies the attribute group label and reports UAP attribute information associated with the identified attribute group label to a server side according to the identified attribute group label, thereby avoiding reporting all UAP attribute information and further saving network resources. Moreover, in the case that a change occurs in the value of a device capability UAP attribute of a terminal or in the attribute group label of the server side, if such a change affects an existing service, the client only needs to send the changed device capability UAP information to the server side, thereby further avoiding transmitting a large volume of UAP information and further saving the network resources.

The method includes: receiving a resource request sent by a resource requester, where the resource request includes resource demand and application feature of a resource; determining a host machine for allocating resources to the resource requester according to the resource request and a resource application feature allocation policy; and controlling the host machine to allocate resources to the resource requester and return resource allocation information to the resource requester, thus solving the problem of degrading performance of host machines as a whole in the prior art caused by hardware resource competition among a plurality of applications which share hardware resources, and efficiently improving the utilization efficiency of the server resources, reducing hardware loss, and improving the user's experience.
