Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a mobility management procedure initiation method and a device, where the method may include: when a quantity N of failures of a mobility management procedure initiated by a device to a core network entity is greater than or equal to a first threshold, determining, by the device, whether N pieces of failure information include first information used to indicate a failure in establishing a radio resource control protocol connection; when the device determines that the N pieces of failure information include the first information, setting, by the device, an initiation condition parameter for initiating the mobility management procedure; and initiating, by the device, the mobility management procedure based on the initiation condition parameter. The present disclosure can improve a network access speed of the device.

An example cell signal strength prediction method includes receiving, by user equipment, a measurement configuration and measuring signal strength of a serving cell. The signal strength of the serving cell within a first preset time period is recorded by the user equipment, and, based on the signal strength of the serving cell within the first preset time period, a determination is made by the user equipment whether the signal strength of the serving cell is falling. In response to a determination that the signal strength of the serving cell is falling, the user equipment predicts signal strength of the serving cell at a second preset time.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a wireless communications access methods, apparatuses, processors, and wireless terminals. The example method includes obtaining a service capability of an access node accessible by the wireless terminal, where the service capability is used to indicate communication quality of service supported by the access node. An access node having the service capability that supports the device type and/or the service type of the wireless terminal is determined as a target access node according to the service capability of the access node and a device type and/or a service type of the wireless terminal. A wireless communications network is then accessed by using the target access node. Therefore, the wireless terminal autonomously selects an access node having a service capability that can meet a communication requirement of the wireless terminal to access the wireless communications network.

Abstract: A multi-session transfer method, a call control device, and a Service Continuity and Continuity Application Server are disclosed. In the embodiments of the present invention, in a multi-session cross-network transfer process, if a second session to be transferred includes video media, a Mobile Switching Center (MSC) server judges capabilities of a current network. If the current network is incapable of transmitting video media, the MSC server sends a request for transferring voice media of the second session to be transferred. The SCC AS receives the transfer request, and converts the second session to be transferred into voice session for transferring or releases the second session to be transferred, and therefore, the problem in the prior art of incapability of transferring the session is avoided, and the cross-network multi-session service transfer is improved.
