    Abstract: A photolithography machine with an alignment system is described. The photolithography machine can identify a fiducial pattern provided on a substrate and use the location of the fiducial pattern to align the substrate before exposure. The fiducial pattern can include a plurality of fiducial markings arranged in a specified pattern. A model matching technique can be applied to match the respective individual fiducial markings. A shaping technique can then be used to identify the fiducial pattern based on the matched fiducial markings.

    Abstract: Disclosed are assays for ultra-fast exponential isothermal amplification of nucleic acids. The assays can improve target detection specificity by using three adjacent binding sites on the target sequence, compared to just one trigger sequence in conventional EXPAR, to initiate the exponential amplification reaction. Amplification of an EXPAR trigger sequence can be carried out via a two-stage process, wherein a first stage achieves linear amplification of the trigger sequence upon successful detection of three adjacent binding sites specified on the target nucleic acid, followed by a second stage that achieves subsequent exponential amplification.

The device according to the present disclosure comprises an oxygen clarifying system, a pressurizing and heat exchanging system, and a circulating gas compression and expansion refrigeration system. The recovering method according to the present disclosure comprises the following steps: first clarifying and purifying the by-product oxygen from water-electrolysis hydrogen production is to remove hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, water and other impurities in the oxygen; and then, liquefying, pressurizing and heat exchanging the pure oxygen to obtain the product oxygen and liquid oxygen with required pressure. In the whole process, the cooling capacity is provided by the circulating gas expansion refrigeration system.

    Abstract: A method for lowering cholesterol and lipid levels using the Antrodia cinnamomea water-insoluble dietary fiber prepared as herein. After ethanol and water extraction, Antrodia cinnamomea wastes are dried and superfine-comminuted to obtain Antrodia cinnamomea waste powder. The waste powder treated with NaOH solution containing NaBH4 is extracted it twice to obtain two extracts. The two extracts are combined and an appropriate amount of glacial acetic acid are added for neutralization. The extracts are centrifugalized and precipitate is collected. After washing the precipitate with ultrapure water, the precipitate is dissolved with LiCl-DMSO. The precipitate that is insoluble in the LiCl-DMSO solution is dialyzed and freeze-dried to obtain the water-insoluble dietary fiber component ACA-IDK of Antrodia cinnamomea. The LiCl-DMSO solution is subjected to ethanol/DMSO fractional precipitation, and then the precipitate is collected and dialyzed.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a system and method for enhancing the visualization, classification, and/or interpretation of a photonic readout of a colorimetric assay. The colorimetric assay is associated with a defined color spectrum that includes a positive region indicative of positive test results and a negative region indicative of negative test results. The system and method operate to receive an image of the photonic readout, convert the image to a predefined color space, enhance image saturation and hue, and adjust a brightness level of the image. The system and method increase visual contrast between the negative and positive regions of the color spectrum specific to the colorimetric assay, making the readout easier to interpret for both users with normal vision and users with variations of color weakness or blindness.

    Abstract: Pseudomonas and a use thereof are provided. The preservation number of the Pseudomonas is CGMCC No. 22583. The growth temperature of the Pseudomonas is 37-45° C. Under a medium-high temperature oil reservoir condition, the Pseudomonas can be denatured from a non-viscosity fluid to a multifunctional oil-extraction bacterial solution having both surface activity and viscoelasticity, and also has the functions of expanding the swept volume and improving the oil washing efficiency. The recovery ratio is increased by more than 20% in a physical simulation experiment.
