Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a new approach used for adaptively selecting an acoustic feature extractor used in an Artificial Intelligence system. The method comprises: acquiring a frame of acoustic signal; checking a status of a flag to be used to indicate a proper acoustic feature extractor to be selected, the first status of the flag indicates a low-cost feature extractor associated with quasi-stationary acoustic signal, the second status of the flag indicates a high-cost feature extractor associated with non-stationary acoustic signal; processing the frame of acoustic signal by the selected acoustic feature extractor indicated by the checked status; determining, based on data generated in the processing of the frame of acoustic signal, an actual status of the frame of acoustic signal; and updating the status of the flag according to the actual status.

Abstract: A high frequency electrical connector including a plastic housing and a plurality of contacts retained by the plastic housing. The contacts include a plurality of differential pair signal contacts and a plurality of grounding contacts beside the signal contacts, respectively. The plastic housing includes the insulative plastic portion and the conductive plastic portion to which the insulative plastic portion is assembled. Abstract: Disclosed herein are microbial consortia and compositions including microbes for example for use in agricultural or biodegradation applications. In some embodiments, soil, plants, and/or plant parts (such as seeds, seedlings, shoots, roots, leaves, fruit, stems, or branches) are contacted with a disclosed microbial consortia or composition including microbes. The microbial consortia or microbe-containing compositions may be applied to soil, plant, and/or plant parts alone or in combination with additional components (such as chitin, chitosan, glucosamine, amino acids, and/or liquid fertilizer). In additional embodiments, the disclosed microbial consortia or compositions including microbes are used in methods of degrading biological materials, such as chitin-containing biological materials.

Abstract: An activation tagging construct for maize that includes one or more sugarcane bacilliform viral (SCBV) enhancer elements, and resulting tagged populations and plants, are described. In one example, an activation tagging DNA construct includes a coding sequence for a transposase, a detectable reporter (such as anthocyanin regulatory genes B-Peru and C1) and a non-autonomous transposable T-DNA cassette. For example, the transposable T-DNA cassette is inserted into the detectable reporter encoding region such that the B-Peru and C1 genes express anthocyanins in a cell containing the maize activation tagging DNA construct only upon excision of the transposable cassette. Methods of generating a tagged population of maize plants include transforming a maize plant cell or tissue with the disclosed constructs.

The mobile device sends a third-party application identifier to a remote server, which returns a verification result. If positive, the mobile device activates the third-party application to generate an application-specific interface and loads the interface into the social networking application. After detecting a user request initiated through the interface, the mobile device sends the user request to the remote server, which performs a transaction with a third-party server accordingly and returns a response to the mobile device. In response, the mobile device deactivates the third-party application and replaces the application-specific interface with a display of an instant message corresponding to the response in the social networking application.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and an apparatus for controlling a play mode, and a mobile terminal. The method includes: detecting whether a mobile terminal is in a preset status according to an operation of a user on the mobile terminal; if the mobile terminal is in the preset status, acquiring a distance between the user and the mobile terminal; and if the distance between the user and the mobile terminal is smaller than a preset threshold, controlling the mobile terminal to enter an earphone play mode. Trough the present invention, the play mode of the mobile terminal can be effectively and accurately controlled, thereby avoiding unnecessary operations and improving the intelligence of the mobile terminal.

Therefore, the seamless state prevents any loose from the conductive plastic block and the insulative one, which could make the terminal base to be steadier.

Abstract: It relates to computer communication technology. A method and system for transmitting voice messages are disclosed. The method includes: voice data collected by the first intercom terminal are received; whether the size of the voice data collected reaches a predefined threshold are circularly detected; and when the size of the voice data collected reaches the predefined threshold, or when the voice data collected doesn't reach the predefined size but contains a voice message terminator, the voice data collected are upload to the transit server via a predefined network, to realize asynchronization between voice data collection and uploading. Thus the problem of the prolongation of the intercom data transmission time associated with existing processes is solved by such an effective intercom data transmission method.
