The method includes: implementing frequency synchronization and time synchronization with a baseband unit (BBU) using an Ethernet protocol; obtaining frequency synchronization information and time synchronization information in a first format from an Ethernet interface; converting the frequency synchronization information and the time synchronization information in the first format into frequency synchronization information and time synchronization information that are in a second format, where the second format is a common public radio interface CPRI protocol format; and sending the frequency synchronization information and time synchronization information in the second format to a remote radio unit (RRU) using a CPRI interface, where the RRU supports a CPRI protocol.

A vectored propulsion unit comprises thruster vectored by an omnidirectional mechanism and may include an autonomous sub-vehicle housed within a rotational frame, or an actuator-thruster assembly with directional control. A UAV with omnidirectional thrust vectoring includes a control system with a ground station unit, a central flight control unit, and a propulsion control unit. A plurality of vectored propulsion units working in coordination allows an unmanned aerial vehicle to maneuver with any stance or body orientation.

    Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide various examples of a face detection system, based on using a small-scale hardware convolutional neutral network (CNN) module configured into a multi-task cascaded CNN. In some embodiments, a subimage-based CNN system can be configured to be equivalent to a large-scale CNN that processes the entire input image without partitioning such that the output of the subimage-based CNN system can be exactly identical to the output of the large-scale CNN. Based on this observation, some embodiments of this patent disclosure make use of the subimage-based CNN system and technique on one or more stages of a cascaded CNN or a multitask cascaded CNN (MTCNN) so that a larger input image to a given stage of the cascaded CNN or the MTCNN can be partitioned into a set of subimages of a smaller size. As a result, each stage of the cascaded CNN or the MTCNN can use the same small-scale hardware CNN module that is associated with a maximum input image size constraint.

    Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide various examples of an age and gender estimation system capable of performing age and gender classifications on face images having sizes greater than the maximum number of input pixels supported by a given small-scale hardware convolutional neutral network (CNN) module. In some embodiments, the proposed age and gender estimation system can first divide a high-resolution input face image into a set of image patches with judiciously designed overlaps among neighbouring patches. Each of the image patches can then be processed with a small-scale CNN module, such as the built-in CNN module in Hi3519 SoC. The outputs corresponding to the set of image patches can be subsequently merged to obtain the output corresponding to the input face image, and the merged output can be further processed by subsequent layers in the age and gender estimation system to generate age and gender classifications for the input face image.

If the position sensor of the switched reluctance motor fails, and the next edge pulse following the current edge pulse is lost, reconstructing the next edge pulse after the interval time (T4) of the current edge pulse of the output signal of the position sensor.

    Abstract: A nuclear instrumentation system and method for locating the same are disclosed. The nuclear instrumentation system includes a source range channel, an intermediate range channel and a power range channel, wherein each channel includes one detector installed around the pressure vessel, the detectors of the power range channel and the intermediate range channel both include several fission chambers, the detectors of the intermediate range channel and power range channel share several fission chambers. Some detectors employ fission chambers, so the Gamma radiation resistance property, anti-noise property and anti-electromagnetic interference property are improved. Sharing fission chambers reduces the number of detectors to be installed, thus relieving the workload of the installation and positioning of the follow-up detector. Further, the present application increases the number of some channels, which increases the redundancy, improves system reliability.

The closed-loop control system comprises a torque regulator, a mode selector, a current regulator, an angle optimization controller and a torque estimator. On the basis of the rotating speed of the motor, the mode selector implements a phase current soft chopper control in a low rotating speed region and an angle position control in a high rotating speed region. The current regulator performs soft chopper hysteretic current regulation. The angle optimization controller optimizes a turn-on angle and a turn-off angle of a power converter master switch to reduce torque pulsation and improve braking energy feedback efficiency. The torque estimator conducts an on-line estimation of an actual braking torque estimated value of the motor based on an actual phase voltage and current of the motor to achieve braking torque signal feedback.
