  • Publication number: 20160212986
Abstract: A method for disinfecting and sterilizing an animal tissue material and a corresponding soak solution for an animal tissue. The method includes placing the animal tissue material into an alkaline soak solution containing a metal peroxide and a detergent, and shaking; removing organic components released from microorganisms and animal tissue cells by soaking and washing in a neutral cleaning solution; washing the tissue matrix with a weak acidic cleaning solution; cryopreserving or freeze-drying the tissue matrix in a neutral solution. The soak solution for the animal tissue contains 0.01˜0.2% (w/v) of the metal peroxide and 0.05˜1.0% (w/v) of the detergent. The animal tissue pretreated by the method is advantageous to the preservation and further decellularization treatment of the tissue for manufacture of an intact scaffold material of a tissue matrix.

  • Publication number: 20160199173
Abstract: The present invention relates to a support device for breast prosthesis based on an acellular matrix material of a biological tissue. The support device for breast prosthesis is formed by tailoring a membranaceous material into a petal-shaped planar biological matrix blank and by connecting adjacent edges thereof. The support device can match with the breast prosthesis; and provide a support, fixation and coverage for the breast prosthesis in various surgical operations such as mammoplasty and breast orthopedics, to avoid the ptosis and translocation of the breast prosthesis, thereby achieving desirable effects of plastic surgery. Once being implanted, the matrix material of a biological tissue can be integrated into the surrounding breast tissue of the subject, and thus transformed into new tissues in human body without the retention of foreign bodies. The present invention further relates to a method for manufacturing a support device, and a membranaceous biological matrix material.

  • Publication number: 20160199540
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an animal acellular tissue matrix material and a tissue matrix material manufactured by the same. The tissue matrix material manufactured by the method retains an original basic scaffold structure of a tissue extracellular matrix, with an antigen causing immunological rejection in a human body being effectively removed from the animal tissue. An animal dermal matrix manufactured by the method retains the biological integrity of a natural dermal tissue matrix and can be used for restoration and repair of lesion and missing tissues.

  • Patent number: 8764856
Abstract: The invention relates to a solid fuel decoupled fluidized bed gasifying method and a gasifying apparatus. By physically separately performing drying and pyrolyzing of fuel, gasification of char, and tar/hydrocarbon reforming, the interactions between the separated chemical reactions and physical processes during fluidized bed gasification can be utilized. Specifically, in a fluidized bed reactor having two reaction chambers, drying and pyrolyzing of fuel, gasification of char, and tar/hydrocarbon reforming are performed, respectively, the reforming of tar/hydrocarbon is promoted through the catalytic effect of the char, and the evaporated fuel moisture is provided to the char gasification and tar/hydrocarbon reforming as an effective reaction agent. Accordingly, the tar content in product gas can be reduced, the use amount of external steam can be reduced, the overall efficiency of gasification can be improved, and this technique can also be applied to the processing of high water-containing fuel.

  • Publication number: 20090036527
Abstract: The present invention provides methods for treating ischemic cardiomyopathy. In one embodiment, provided is a method of treating a disease characterized as ischemic cardiomyopathy, comprising administering to a subject suffering from said disease a pharmaceutical composition comprising therapeutically effective amount of synthesized Leonurine. The method induces at least one biochemical change to improve hypoxia myocardial cells survive rate, reduce LDH releasing from the ischemic myocardial cells, and reduce infarction area of cardiomyopathy in the subject.

  • Patent number: 7295851
Abstract: In the present technique, a dispatch call setup determines (508) whether an auto-reply as a response to a polite dispatch call request is available. If so, a dispatch call blocked using the available auto-reply is sent (512) as a response to the polite dispatch call request. In response to an impolite dispatch call request being received (504, 506), a determination (528) occurs regarding whether an impolite request is allowed, and if not, the impolite dispatch call request is rejected (522). Otherwise, a dispatch call page is sent (534) to indicate the impolite dispatch call request.

  • Publication number: 20070077204
Abstract: The present invention provides smell tests (odor identification tests) that are shorter that UPSIT, yet has a statistical sensitivity and specificity equivalent to or better than UPSIT. The odor identification tests of the invention are based on a core set of six odorants, where the six odorants can be selected from the following group of odorants: menthol, clove, leather, strawberry, lilac, pineapple, smoke, soap, natural gas and lemon. The present invention provides odor identification tests that can: (1) discriminate between subjects who are normal and who have a neuropsychiatric condition, cognitive disease or disorder, and/or (2) predict which subjects with mild cognitive disorders will develop various neuropsychiatric conditions or cognitive diseases and disorders.
