    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for an ML model training procedure. A network entity may receive a trigger to activate an ML model training procedure based on at least one of an indication from an ML model repository or a protocol of the network entity. The network entity may transmit an ML model training request to activate the ML model training at one or more nodes. The one or more nodes may be associated with a RAN that may transmit, based on receiving the ML model training request, ML model training results indicative of a trained ML model. In aspects, an apparatus, such as a UE, may train the ML model based on an ML model training configuration received from the RAN, and transmit an ML model training report indicative of the trained ML model.

To address the overheating condition, the UE may transmit an uplink control message containing UE assistance information to request a reconfiguration of one or more measurement parameters. In some cases, the UE may request to reduce one or more measurements associated with radio resource management (RRM). The UE may receive a downlink control message from a base station which indicates a reconfiguration of the measurement parameters, and the UE may implement the reconfiguration to mitigate the overheating.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) entity of a receiver device receives, from a radio link control (RLC) entity of the receiver device, a plurality of RLC data packets received from a transmitter device over an RLC unacknowledged mode (UM) data radio bearer (DRB) or RLC transparent mode (TM) DRB. The PDCP entity generates a plurality of PDCP data packets corresponding to the plurality of RLC data packets. The receiver device determines to send a PDCP status report indicating a reception status at the receiver device of the plurality of PDCP data packets and transmits the PDCP status report to a PDCP entity of the transmitter device. The receiver device receives, in response to sending the PDCP status report, one or more PDCP data packets of the plurality of PDCP data packets that were not successfully received at the receiver device.

A base station may communicate with a user equipment (UE) or multiple UEs using multicast transmissions, and each of the multiple UEs may use shared resources to transmit feedback. A UE may receive a power control configuration associated with multicast communications and indicating one or more control parameters or weighting factors for uplink feedback. The UE may monitor a set of downlink resources for the multicast message from the base station, and may determine a decoding failure for the multicast message. The UE may determine whether to transmit uplink feedback to the base station based on the received power control parameters, such as adjusting UE transmit power using a weighting factor or other power control parameters. The UE may determine whether to transmit the uplink feedback message indicating the decoding failure based on the power control configuration.

The UE may explicitly report voice call capabilities via one or more system-level parameters that are transmitted to the base station. In cases where the UE indicates a capability for packet switched voice calls via the first RAN, one or more voice calls may be established with the UE via the first RAN. In cases where the UE indicates that it is not capable of packet switched voice calls via the first RAN, the UE may fall back to a different RAN (e.g., a 4G or LTE RAN, a 3G RAN, or a 2G RAN) for voice calls.
