    Abstract: Embodiments of a Next Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are disclosed herein. The gNB may be configurable to operate as a source gNB (S-gNB). The S-gNB may transfer, from a control plane (CU-CP) of the S-gNB to a CU-CP of a target gNB (T-gNB), an XnAP handover request message that indicates an Xn handover of a User Equipment (UE) from the S-gNB to the T-gNB. The S-gNB may initiate data forwarding, from a user plane (CU-UP) of the S-gNB to a CU-UP of the T-gNB, of downlink data packets. The data forwarding may be terminated based on reception of end marker packets from a user plane function (UPF) entity. The CU-UP of the S-gNB may transfer end marker packets to the CU-UP of the S-gNB to indicate termination of the data forwarding.

In embodiments of this application, a network device may indicate the at least one periodicity to the terminal device, so that the terminal device can detect the downlink signal based on the at least one periodicity. For example, the at least one periodicity matches a state of the network device. This is equivalent to describing that the terminal device can detect the downlink signal based on the state of the network device, to reduce power consumption of the terminal device as much as possible.

The transmitting entity sends an E1 SETUP REQUEST message to set up the E1 interface. Afterwards, a message is received from the receiving entity. The transmitting entity determines that the setup of the E1 interface is successful if the message contains IEs of an E1 SETUP RESPONSE message.     Abstract: Offloading of location computation from a location server to an access point through the use of projections on base phase vectors may be provided. First, an Access Point (AP) may receive a set of two or more base phase vectors from a location server. Next, the AP may measure a measured phase vector for a first signal from a user device. Then, the AP can determine projection values based on a comparison of the measured phase vector to each base phase vector. From these comparisons, the AP can determine a subset of base phase vectors with the highest projection values. The AP can then send the projection values and the subset of base phase vectors to the location server, wherein the location server determines the device location from these projection values and subset of base phase vectors.

First, a service migration policy may be created for a network that includes a plurality of edge clouds configured to provide a service to users. Next, a movement of a user receiving the service from a source edge cloud may be detected. The source edge cloud may be associated with a first area and the detected movement may be from the first area to a second area. Then, the service migration policy may be applied to determine whether to migrate the service for the user from the source edge cloud. In response to determining to migrate the service, a target edge cloud may be identified and the service for the user may be migrated from the source edge cloud to the target edge cloud. The service migration policy may then be updated based on a success of the migration.

When a buffer full event is detected, a segment of an L2P data structure can be loaded into working memory of the memory device. Then, each record in the segment of the L2P data structure that has a corresponding entry in the buffer can be updated to mark the data as removable (e.g., invalid).
