  • Patent number: 10685297
Abstract: A system is described that infers that a user will need to complete a trip and selects a transportation service that the user can use to complete the trip. The system predicts a time to request a vehicle associated with the transportation service for completing the trip such that the request has sufficiently high degree of likelihood, of causing the vehicle to arrive at a future location by a final departure time; the final departure time being a latest time at which the user is predicted to need to begin traveling. Responsive to determining that a current time is within a threshold amount of time of the predicted time, the system sends, to a reservation system associated with the transportation service, a reservation request for the vehicle associated with the transportation service for completing the trip.

  • Publication number: 20200112875
Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes that a first communications apparatus sends quality of service (QoS) flow information to a second communications apparatus, where a QoS flow indicated by the QoS flow information corresponds to at least one bearer type. The first communications apparatus receives a QoS flow list sent by the second communications apparatus based on the QoS flow information, where each QoS flow list is mapped to a radio bearer. The first communications apparatus sends a radio bearer identifier of the QoS flow list to the second communications apparatus. In the embodiments of this application, a base station itself determines a radio bearer or a DRB used to transmit the QoS flow.

  • Publication number: 20200015088
Abstract: Example data security processing methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes setting up a first PDU session. A first base station derives a first user plane key based on a received base key and performs security processing on user plane data in the first PDU session by using the first user plane key and a security algorithm. A second PDU session is set up. The first base station derives a second user plane key based on the base key and performs security processing on user plane data in the second PDU session by using the second user plane key and the security algorithm. The user plane key includes a user plane encryption key and/or a user plane integrity protection key.

  • Publication number: 20190327772
Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a duplication mode communication processing method in a central unit-distributed unit (CU-DU) architecture. In a possible implementation, in a process of establishing a user plane tunnel between a CU and a DU by exchanging information about uplink tunnel endpoints and information about downlink tunnel endpoints, the DU provides an identity of a primary path to the CU, thereby implementing a duplication mode of a data radio bearer.

  • Publication number: 20190297634
Abstract: This application provides a communication method and a communication system. A central unit (CU) obtains a quality of service (QoS) parameter of a QoS data flow and performs mapping the QoS data flow to a bearer based on the QoS parameter of the QoS data flow. The CU determines a QoS parameter of the bearer based on the QoS parameter of the QoS data flow and sends a context setup request message to a distributed unit (DU), wherein the context setup request message comprises the QoS parameter of the bearer, the QoS parameter of the QoS data flow and the mapping relationship between the QoS data flow and the bearer.

  • Patent number: 10143011
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for processing channel access and an apparatus thereof. The method includes: receiving a fallback to physical random access channel (PRACH) indication sent by a base station; and initiating access on a common enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH). In the present invention, a fallback to PRACH indication is not executed, so as to prevent a user terminal from being in a DRX off state when a base station sends downlink data to the UE, thereby preventing the base station from delaying sending the downlink data to the UE.
