Embodiments include identifying an object of interest in an image of a frame of the media program; inserting an indicator into the image of the frame to identify the object of interest; generating a video clip associated with the identified object based on a portion of the media program; constructing an information page containing information regarding the object of interest, wherein the information page comprises a window for displaying the video clip; and transmitting the information page, including the video clip, to the user device.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of producing a solid carbon material. The method comprises providing a carbon-containing material formed through the heat treatment of carbonaceous feedstock. The carbon-containing material is capable of undergoing polymerisation. The method further comprises mixing the carbon-containing material with a polymerisation agent to form a material mixture. In addition, the method comprises heating the material mixture to a temperature at which polymerisation of the material mixture occurs so as to produce the solid carbon material. The method also comprises adding a further material into the material mixture before polymerisation.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an advertisement delivery method, apparatus, and system, which can implement personalized advertising network allocation, so that a selected advertising network meets a preference of a user in real time. The method includes: sending a first message including user information to an advertising platform; receiving a second message sent by the advertising platform, where the second message includes delivery information that is determined by the advertising platform according to the user information; and performing advertisement delivery according to the delivery information. According to the advertisement delivery method, apparatus, and system in the embodiments of the present invention, an advertising network is selected with reference to user information, so that the selected advertising network can meet a preference of a user, thereby implementing personalized advertising network allocation.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and a system for calculating the number of users, relate to the field of communication technologies, and solve a problem that the calculation amount is large and a lot of calculation resources are consumed because a location model needs to be established for each user for acquiring the number of users. In the embodiments of the present invention, a computer only needs to establish an attribute-number of location record mapping table according to locally stored location records of users and then may obtain a required result about the number of users according to time and location attributes in a query request. This overcomes a defect that a lot of calculation resources in the computer are consumed. Therefore, when a query condition frequently changes, the query can be sped up, and the query efficiency of the computer can be improved.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, a server, and a system for implementing a video-based value-added service. The method includes: acquiring, by an event server, association event data which corresponds to a video currently played by a first client; when detecting an event trigger condition, generating, by the event server, an event notification according to the association event data, and sending the event notification to an application server; forming, by the application server, value-added service content according to preset value-added service data and event data in the event notification, and providing the value-added service content for a second client.

Abstract: Use of Fructus schisandrae in preparation of medicaments for preventing and reducing toxicity and side effects of antineoplastic agents. The toxicity and side effects of antineoplastic agents are cardiovascular toxicity, hepatotoxicity, nephrotoxicity, suppression of bone marrow, immunosuppression, or alopecia etc induced by antineoplastic agents. Fructus schisandrae and extracts thereof, especially ethanol extracts, schisandrin B, are effective in reducing antineoplastic agent's toxicity and side effects.

Abstract: Methods of application of a class of compounds with a pharmacophore of dibenzocyclooctadiene in the preparation of anticancer medications, and particularly for the preparation of medications for the treatment of P-glycoprotein-mediated multidrug resistant (MDR) cancer and non-P-glycoprotein-mediated MDR cancer, such as multidrug resistant associated protein MRP1-mediated cancer. Methods of increasing the efficacy of anticancer agents are further disclosed. The class of compounds are of a potency to effectively reverse MDR cancer by inhibiting the drug transport activity of an ABC drug transporter, increase the intracellular accumulation of an anticancer agent in MDR cancer cells, enhance apoptosis of cancer cells induced by an anticancer agent, and directly kill cancer cells. The aforementioned methods of application of the present disclosure provide much potential for the treatment of cancer.

Abstract: Methods of application of Schisandrin B in the preparation of anticancer medications, and particularly for the preparation of medications for the treatment of multidrug resistant (MDR) cancer. The compound of Schisandrin B effectively reverses MDR cancer in combination with other anticancer chemotherapeutic agents. Schisandrin B reverses MDR cancer by inhibiting the drug efflux activity of P-glycoprotein, indicating its significance in clinical applications. Although it is of low toxicity, Schisandrin B is cytotoxic to human cancer cells, revealing its application in cancer chemotherapy.
