    Abstract: This application provides a communication method and apparatus. The method includes: A first communication apparatus sends first information to a second communication apparatus. The first information may include at least one of: a first parameter, a second parameter, or a third parameter. The first parameter indicates a feedback manner of a CIR measurement report, the second parameter indicates a reference CIR tap, and the third parameter indicates configuration of a noise threshold. Therefore, in the method, at least one of the first parameter, the second parameter, or the third parameter is added to the first information, to support flexible configuration of a sensing control parameter, and help flexibly feed back the CIR measurement report. This meets requirements of different application scenarios.

Therefore, a receiver of the PPDU may process the received PPDU according to the type instruction information.
