    Abstract: The present invention provides a backlight module which comprises a waveguide, an optical film, an elastic frame, and dowel pins. Wherein at least corners of the optical film is securely attached to the elastic frame, and wherein the dowel pints are attached to the elastic frame, and the optical film is disposed on top of the waveguide. Wherein corners of the optical film are provided with openings with which the optical films are readily positioned with respect to the waveguide by extending the dowel pins through the openings. And wherein the strength of the dowel pins is stronger than the strength of the elastic frame. The present invention further provides a liquid crystal display device incorporated with the backlight module disclosed above. By this arrangement, once the positioning of the optical films can he ensured, the optical quality of the backlight module can also be ensured.

    Abstract: The invention provides an outer frame for a display device, a backlight module and an LCD device. The outer frame includes at least two sections; the sections include a mounting section for arranging the light source of the backlight module. In the invention, because the outer frame of the backlight module is divided into multiple sections, and one of the sections is used as a mounting section for arranging the light source, the light source is arranged on the mounting section of the outer frame when being assembled, and the required assembling action is simple in the assembling process; thus, the step of assembling the light source on the backplane or aluminum extrusion is omitted, and the assembling technology is simplified. In addition, when replacing the light source of the backlight module, only the mounting section of the outer frame is removed, and then the light source is replaced on the outer frame.

The backlight module that enhances heat dissipation of LED light sources includes an LED light strip, a back panel, a mixed coating layer including two materials, and a thermal diode/triode. The LED light strip is arranged on the back panel. The mixed coating layer is interposed between the LED light strip and the back panel and contacts both for transfer of heat. The thermal diode/triode is connected to the mixed coating layer to control temperature of the mixed coating layer. In operation, through regulation of temperature, the thermal diode/triode makes vibration frequencies of the two materials of the mixed coating layer consistent with each other at a given temperature. The display device includes the above descried backlight module that enhances heat dissipation of LED light sources.

    Abstract: A positioning device of a backlight module is disclosed. The positioning device is for positioning a reflective sheet and a light guiding plate. The reflective sheet and the light guiding plate are respectively fixed on the positioning device such that the reflective sheet moves together with the light guiding plate. By adopting the positioning device, the reflective sheet moves together with the light guiding plate such that the location of the reflective sheet is not affected in the assembly process of the light guiding plate.
