  • Patent number: 11534609
Abstract: The invention comprises providing electric stimuli, which are generated by forming the following ringing circuit: active electrode—inductive storage unit—passive electrode—interelectrode tissues—active electrode, the electric stimuli creating oscillations which are used as a test signal. In one variant of the method, the electrodes are successively applied (in another variant—moved uniformly) across the skin area. Every time the electrodes-to-skin contact is detected, the oscillation parameters are recorded after a delay. Moreover, the values of parameters can be averaged. The invention allows for both combined and disjointed (i.e. separated) electrode placement. An optimal zone for electropulse therapy is identified by a minimal or maximal value of one or more parameters of the aforementioned oscillations and the use of the principle of small asymmetry. The invention further provides for an increase in the accuracy with which zones optimal for electropulse therapy are identified and localized.

  • Patent number: 11522079
Abstract: An electrostatically controlled sensor includes a GaN/AlGaN heterostructure having a 2DEG channel in the GaN layer. Source and drain contacts are electrically coupled to the 2DEG channel through the AlGaN layer. A gate dielectric is formed over the AlGaN layer, and gate electrodes are formed over the gate dielectric, wherein each gate electrode extends substantially entirely between the source and drain contacts, wherein the gate electrodes are separated by one or more gaps (which also extend substantially entirely between the source and drain contacts). Each of the one or more gaps defines a corresponding sensing area between the gate electrodes for receiving an external influence. A bias voltage is applied to the gate electrodes, such that regions of the 2DEG channel below the gate electrodes are completely depleted, and regions of the 2DEG channel below the one or more gaps in the direction from source to drain are partially depleted.

  • Patent number: 11438160
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for issuing assets and/or asset tokens using zero-knowledge proofs (“ZKPs”). An issuance system may receive a command to issue an asset. The issuance system may determine that issuing the assets would not violate administrator-defined or network-defined rules that may govern the types of assets and/or the quantity of assets that the issuance system may issue. The issuance system may then issue the assets and generate a ZKP corresponding to the issuance and indicating adherence to the rules while concealing information related to the asset token, such as the types of assets and/or quantity of assets. The issuance system may publish the ZKP to a blockchain so that verifier nodes may confirm that the issuance system adhered to the rules while still preventing access to the underlying issuance information.

  • Patent number: 11429318
Abstract: Techniques include receiving a backup request for backing up data on a production VVOL, to which is assigned physical space from storage devices in a first storage tier. When the production VVOL and a snapshot VVOL exist, and a write request is received to a data block on the production VVOL that is shared between the production VVOL and the snapshot VVOL, then the techniques include capturing a snapshot of the production VVOL by redirecting the write request to newly allocated space on the production VVOL, writing new data to the newly allocated space, and storing metadata referring to the original block(s) on the production VVOL. Based on an IO workload threshold, the techniques include copying, in a background process, the original version of the modified block from the production VVOL to a snapshot VVOL, to which is assigned physical storage space from storage devices in a second storage tier.
