    Abstract: An external electromagnetic shielding device is provided. The external electromagnetic shielding device includes a bottom shield, a conductive cover being in a grid-like shape and arranged above the bottom shield, and a rolling module. The conductive cover includes a top shield spaced apart from the bottom shield, a lateral shield connected to the top shield, and a plurality of supports that are fixed to the lateral shield. The supports include a bottom support in an annular arrangement, and any two of the supports are spaced apart from each other. The rolling module includes a rolling unit and a linkage unit that is connected to the rolling unit and the bottom support. When the linkage unit is coiled on or released from the rolling unit, the bottom support can be moved to allow the lateral shield to fold or unfold between the bottom shield and the top shield.

    Abstract: A balloon, a medical device, and a medical procedure for discoplasty are disclosed. The balloon has a compressed, collapsed or folded balloon body containing a first chamber for, in use, receiving injected bone cement. With the bone cement filled and cured therein, the balloon acts as a support in tissue of an intervertebral disc while preventing the bone cement from leakage and dispersion. The deployed balloon body defines a second chamber running therethrough. The second chamber is configured to receive a material or cells that activate osteogenesis and/or osteo-induction, so that the material or cells injected into the second chamber through a second sprue form osteocytes or induce human spontaneous local cellular differentiation to in turn form osteocytes in the cavity of the intervertebral disc and connect vertebrae above and below the intervertebral disc, thereby securely anchoring the balloon within the intervertebral space.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a MOS transistor includes following. A gate stack structure and a hardmask layer on the gate stack structure are sequentially formed on a substrate. A first spacer is formed on sidewalls of the gate stack structure and the hardmask layer. A photoresist layer is formed on a sidewall of the first spacer. A top surface of the photoresist layer is higher than a top surface of the gate stack structure. The hardmask layer and a portion of the first spacer are removed to expose the top surface of the gate stack structure. A top surface of a remaining first spacer is higher than the top surface of the gate stack structure. The photoresist layer is removed. A second spacer is formed on a sidewall of the remaining first spacer. A top surface of the second spacer is higher than the top surface of the gate stack.

    Abstract: The present disclosure is generally related to 3D imaging capable OLED displays. A light field display comprises an array of 3D light field pixels, each of which comprises an array of corrugated OLED pixels, a metasurface layer disposed adjacent to the array of 3D light field pixels, and a plurality of median layers disposed between the metasurface layer and the corrugated OLED pixels. Each of the corrugated OLED pixels comprises primary or non-primary color subpixels, and produces a different view of an image through the median layers to the metasurface to form a 3D image. The corrugated OLED pixels combined with a cavity effect reduce a divergence of emitted light to enable effective beam direction manipulation by the metasurface. The metasurface having a higher refractive index and a smaller filling factor enables the deflection and direction of the emitted light from the corrugated OLED pixels to be well controlled.
