Abstract: Provided are a composite material and a preparation method therefor. The composite material comprises: a base layer; a first plant fibre fabric located on the upper surface of the base layer; optionally, a second plant fibre fabric located on the lower surface of the base layer; and resins present in each layer. The composite material has a decorative performance and an improved mechanical performance.

Abstract: Personal lubricant compositions comprise: water, sclerotium gum, carrageenan, and one or more natural emollients. The compositions may comprise by weight: sclerotium gum in an amount in the range of about 0.5% to about 3.0%; carrageenan in an amount in the range of about 0.1% to about 3.0%; and one or more natural emollients in an amount in the range of about 0.5% to about 9.0%; and water. The compositions may be essentially free of one or more of paraben, glycerin or propylene glycol. The personal lubricant compositions may be tailored depending on the application. Sperm-friendly or rectal lubricants may have a pH of about 6 to about 8; and lubricants to promote vaginal health may have a pH of about 4 to about 5.

Abstract: An electrode, a preparation method therefor, and uses thereof. Titanium or titanium alloy is used as a base material of the electrode, the outer surface of the base material is coated with a composite material coating, and the composite material coating is prepared by coating a composite material solution and carrying out drying and sintering. The composite material solution is a nanoscale solution formed by dissolving transition metal elements in ethanol. The nanoscale solution is an ethanol solution of the nanoscale transition metal with particles of the transition metal as solutes thereof.

An object is classified into a class of an ordered classification arrangement based on a set of criteria. Recommendations are generated for the object to achieve an objective of a user based on user information of the user. The recommendations are personalized to the user based on the user information.

Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms for providing asynchronous web service calls in an on-demand services environment. In response to request from a remote client computing device, accessing a page provided by one or more server computing devices of the on-demand services environment. The page has content including logic to retrieve information from a remote resource external to the on-demand services environment via at least one asynchronous web service call. A controller component of the page is loaded before rendering a response to the remote computing device. The controller component is executed by a first thread within the on-demand services environment. At least one web service call is sent to the remote resource with the controller component. A continuation object is returned with the controller component to release the first thread from waiting for a response to the web service call, the continuation object providing at least a label to be used when handling the response when received.

Abstract: A system for empty container repositioning includes a scenario module, a forecast engine, a network builder module and a multi-commodity flow solver. The scenario module is configured to define a plurality of scenarios related to a safe stock level of empty containers at each of multiple locations having one or more transport vessels. The forecast engine is configured to forecast values for each of the defined scenarios, where the forecasted values include a safe stock level of empty containers for each location. The network builder module is configured to use the forecasted values to build a multi-commodity flow network. The multi-commodity flow solver is configured to determine a number of empty containers to load on and load off of the transport vessels at each of the locations.

Abstract: A rule handler may receive a first routing rule and a second routing rule, each routing rule characterizing at least one potential physical transportation route. A rule converter may convert the first routing rule and the second routing rule into a first finite automaton (FA) and a second finite automaton, respectively, and may combine the first finite automaton and the second finite automaton into a finite automaton network graph. A graph comparator may then compare the finite automaton network graph to existing physical transportation routes, and a route selector may select, based on the comparing, at least one feasible physical transportation route from the existing physical transportation routes, the at least one feasible physical transportation route being an instance of the at least one potential physical transportation route.
