    Abstract: An electrode for an electrochemical energy storage device formed from an electrostatic deposition process employs a composite particle including active material (AM) particle with adhered binder and optionally conductive particles formed with sufficient interaction forces between the individual ingredient particles to form an effective composite particle which can overcome particle separation during electrostatic charging, fluidization, and/or mechanical conveyance. Secondary binder particles undergo deagglomeration to form sub particles, which are adhered to the AM particles having a predetermined morphology. Smaller conductive particles, typically carbon black (CB) or similar carbon, are bound to the binder and adhere to the AM particles. The result is a composite particle adhered for withstanding separation forces imposed from electrostatic deposition onto a current collector.

A toothed locking gear is attached to a hub of the wheel so that the wheel and the locking gear rotate together. A brake pedal of the wheel brake is pivotally connected to the wagon at a wheel bracket thereof to be rotatable in response to a pushing force applied thereto towards and into locking engagement with the locking gear. A coupler (e.g., a locking pin) of the brake pedal is received between a successive pair of teeth of the toothed locking gear, such that the locking gear and the wheel to which the locking gear is attached are unable to rotate, whereby the wheeled article is held in place.

    Abstract: An oral dosage form of an antidiabetic pharmaceutical composition comprises a core portion, an outer portion, and a controlled membrane film sandwiched therebetween. The core and outer portions respectively comprise a first antidiabetic agent and a second antidiabetic agent, such as metformin HCl and sitagliptin phosphate, each at a therapeutically effective amount. The controlled membrane film encapsulates the core portion and is provided with at least one passageway for allowing the first antidiabetic agent to release out when the oral dosage form is in an aqueous environment, such as in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract of a subject. The oral dosage form is configured, upon a single-dose oral administration, to provide a maximum plasma concentration of the first antidiabetic agent in the subject from approximately 7.5 to 15 hours after administration. A method for manufacturing the oral dosage form of the antidiabetic pharmaceutical composition is also provided.

Accordingly, the effective detection of analytes at a single-molecular level is realized, such that single molecule analytes that cannot generate an effective detection signal due to an interaction time with a. nanopore being too short can be effectively detected, the prevalence of single molecule analytes can be significantly improved, and different analytes and detection requirements are accommodated.

    Abstract: Cathode material from exhausted lithium ion batteries are dissolved in a solution for extracting the useful elements Co (cobalt), Ni (nickel), Al (Aluminum) and Mn (manganese) to produce active cathode materials for new batteries. The solution includes compounds of desirable materials such as cobalt, nickel, aluminum and manganese dissolved as compounds from the exhausted cathode material of spent cells. Depending on a desired proportion, or ratio, of the desired materials, raw materials are added to the solution to achieve the desired ratio of the commingled compounds for the recycled cathode material for new cells. The desired materials precipitate out of solution without extensive heating or separation of the desired materials into individual compounds or elements. The resulting active cathode material has the predetermined ratio for use in new cells, and avoids high heat typically required to separate the useful elements because the desired materials remain commingled in solution.
