    Abstract: The present invention provides a chip ESD protection circuit, includes an integrated circuit layer and a conductive layer. A first ground bonding pad that is connected to a first ground wire of a first power domain is disposed on each of the first power domain and a second power domain in the integrated circuit layer. The first ground bonding pads are bonded to the conductive layer. A second power clamping unit is disposed on the second power domain. A first end of the second power clamping unit is connected to a second power wire of the second power domain, and a second end thereof is connected to the first ground wire or a second ground wire of the second power domain. According to the chip ESD protection circuit, the ESD protection capability of a chip can be improved. The occupied area of the chip is reduced.

    Abstract: Convergence times associated with simulated annealing based (SA-based) optimization in wireless networks can be reduced by introducing an additional local or cell-level evaluation step into the evaluation of global solutions. In particular, new local solutions may be evaluated based on local performance criteria when the new solutions are in a global solution deemed to have satisfied a global performance criteria. New local solutions that satisfy their corresponding local performance criteria remain in the new global solution. New local solutions that do not satisfy their corresponding local performance criteria are replaced with a corresponding current local solution from a current global solution, thereby modifying the new global solution. The resulting modified global solution includes both new local solutions and current local solutions prior to being accepted as the current global solution for the next iteration.

    Abstract: Methods and devices for receiving or transmitting a wireless packet are described. A wireless packet includes a short training field (STF) and a channel estimation field (CEF). The receiver determines whether the received STF matches an assigned STF assigned for a target link, by performing cross-correlation between the STF and a component sequence from a set of at least four different component sequences which are pairs of Golay sequences. The cross-correlation output is compared with an expected output. When the received STF matches the assigned STF, the wireless packet is considered a target packet. A channel estimation is performed using a cross-correlation of the received CEF with an assigned CEF assigned for the target link. The assigned CEF is from a set of two or more CEFs, where each CEF is formed using the set of component sequences, and the CEFs are pairwise zero-correlation zone (ZCZ) sequences.
