Abstract: The disclosure discloses a method, device and server of recognizing characters of a claim document, and a storage medium. The method includes: after the server receives a claim document image to be subjected to character recognition, performing region segmentation according to the frame line layout of a claim document frame format, thus obtaining one or multiple segmented regions; and calling a predetermined analysis model to analyze all the obtained segmented regions, and respectively performing character recognition on all the analyzed segmented regions by using a predetermined recognition rule to recognize characters in all the segmented regions.

Abstract: Disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention are an open-loop power control method and device, relating to the field of wireless communications and comprising: sending a first signal/channel to a second wireless node; indicating the transmission power of said first signal/channel to the second wireless node; or sending the first signal/channel and a fourth signal/channel to the second wireless node; indicating the transmission power of said fourth signal/channel to the second wireless node; said transmission power is used by the second wireless node to calculate the downlink path loss and determine the transmission power of the uplink random-access signal. The invention is capable of ensuring, in a user-centered access context, that an appropriate transmission power is used to send an uplink random-access request, thus resisting the impact of path loss and preventing interference between uplink users.

Abstract: An embodiment of a portable sensor input device operatively connects to a smartphone, wearable computer device, tablet PC, and/or other mobile computer device to facilitate medical examination and diagnosis. The sensor input device used for biological signal detection contains one or more sensors inside it's chest-piece, such as, without limitation, acoustic sensor, temperature sensor, pressure sensor, light sensor, image sensor, electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor, and/or ultrasonic sensor. The ergonomically designed and shaped input device can employ an energy harvesting module to power up the sensor system. A medical application software inside the mobile computer device controls the sensor input device and performs the major functions.

The second-type wireless transceiver apparatus is configured to allocate resources according to the first-type signaling, and indicate the resource allocation by sending the second-type signaling to the first-type wireless transceiver apparatus. Abstract: Instant messaging (IM) users in a wireless network are allowed to automatically set their presence status based on their geographical location. A conventional Mobile IM (MIM) client, such as a Brew application, allows an IM user to set his presence status, e.g. “Online,” “Away,” etc. This status is transmitted to the IM server which then publishes this status to other IM users. As disclosed herein, location based presence populates the device position automatically into the presence status or other IM communications. For example, selection of a menu choice <My Location> causes the disclosed MIM client to insert the street address of the current location into the presence status. The disclosed client obtains the location information by working with elements of a location based service (LBS) platform of a wireless mobile communication network, such as a location proxy server (LPS) and a position determining entity (PDE).
