    Abstract: System and methods are directed to displaying interactive content with static content in a user interface of an application. More specifically, it may be determined that an interactive component is to be rendered in a user interface of a first application, where the user interface includes static content. In response to determining that the interactive component is it be rendered, at least one linking parameter may be determined for linking the interactive component with interactive content stored in a shared storage. Based on the at least one linking parameter, the interactive component may be rendered in the user interface of the first application in-line with the static content of the user interface of the first application. Changes to the interactive content made by a second user of a second application may then be updated within the interactive component rendered in the user interface of the first application.

A method includes: receiving, by a first device, a request from a first user to send a message to a second user; determining that a messaging application corresponding to the request is unavailable on the first device; and in response to determining that the messaging application corresponding to the request is unavailable on the first device: selecting a second device on which the messaging application corresponding to the request is available; and sending, to the second device, a command that causes the second device to send the message from the first user to the second user using the messaging application on the second device.

Such intervening steps can include providing a user confirmation, which can be bypassed, and/or time-limited according to a timer, which can be displayed in response to the user providing a responsive input directed at the notification. A period for the timer can be set according to one or more characteristics that are associated with the notification, the user, and/or any other information that can be associated with the user receiving the notification.

As a user types a query prefix into a browser or other interface to the search engine, the search engine returns query completion suggestions to the browser. The query completion suggestions, user history, user favorites and/or other information are presented to a trained machine learning model on the client device to predict a desired location that the user is attempting to navigate to. When the confidence level of the predicted location surpasses a threshold, content from the desired location is preloaded into a hidden tab in the browser. When the user submits a query, the browser submits feedback to a system responsible for updating and refining the machine learning model. Updated machine learning model coefficients can be received by the browser from the system to make predictions more accurate.
