  • Publication number: 20070185546
Abstract: This invention provides a flexible antenna module for wireless energy transmission, which uses an antenna size controlling device to adjust the antenna's size to conform a living body's outer portion wearing the flexible annular antenna. An antenna energy transmission control module is provided to adjust the power for driving the flexible annular antenna according to the deformation of the flexible annular antenna. This invention can adjust both the antenna size to fit the individual and the power for driving the antenna. The individual can use the present antenna module under a comfortable, safe and reliable circumstance.

  • Publication number: 20070154023
Abstract: A stethoscope capable of eliminating unwanted sounds and method thereof, the stethoscope and method thereof mainly use a stethoscope head containing a sensor and a signal processing circuit. By way of detecting and judging whether the stethoscope head arrives on correct stethoscopic position by the sensor, unwanted sounds generating by frictions, translations, or collisions during the stethoscopic process can be effectively eliminated such that the stethoscopic quality can be improved. Thus, a doctor can use less time and spirit to make a correct diagnosis for a patient with least unwanted interference sounds.

  • Publication number: 20060032136
Abstract: An automatically watered flowerpot comprises a vessel of the flowerpot with an upward opening, and a stop board or an interior basin set in the vessel to form a first receiving room and a second receiving room; potted plants are put in-the first receiving room and water is stored in the second receiving room. At least one water intake pipe and one water spraying pipe are set inside the vessel; the water intake pipe stretches from the first receiving room to the second receiving room, and water can be filled into the second receiving room. A water drawing machine is connected to the water spraying pipe in the second receiving room and controlled by the controller to draw water for a fixed amount at a fixed time. Water is sprayed to the first receiving room by the water spraying pipe to prevent the plants from drying up.

  • Patent number: 6953046
Abstract: A microprocessor-based gas meter has fully electronic control, safety cutoff and data communication functions, while remains the same size of a conventional gas meter. The control circuit board in the microprocessor-based gas meter is mounted inside the main body of the gas meter through a mounting slot. The sensors, wires and battery are located in the rest space of the chamber so as to utilize the space of the chamber. When an abnormal situation is detected, the control circuit activates a cutoff valve and shuts off the gas intake. The data communication function is to transfer gas-metering data through telephone lines to the gas company so that the mistakes and cost of manual checking and recording can be eliminated.

  • Patent number: 6737303
Abstract: A process for forming an organic semiconducting layer having molecular alignment. First, a photoalignment organic layer is formed on a substrate or A dielectric layer. Next, the photoalignment organic layer is irradiated by polarized light through a mask, such that the photoalignment organic layer becomes an orientation layer having molecular alignment. Finally, an organic semiconducting layer is formed on the orientation layer, such that the organic semiconducting layer aligns according to the alignment of the orientation layer to exhibit molecular alignment. The present invention can form an organic semiconducting layer with different molecular alignments in different regions over the same substrate by means of polarized light exposure through a mask.

  • Patent number: 5603486
Abstract: An improved frame-type, manually-operated hydraulic car jack consists of a base, a pressure release valve, a socket, a lever, a hydraulic oil cylinder, a piston, a pair of pulling bars, a pair of links, a pair of pushing bars, a load-engaging head and a locking rod. A pair of horizontally aligned holes which have a diameter slightly larger than that of the locking rod are defined in the pushing bars. When the car jack is driven to lift a car supported by the car jack to a desired level, the locking rod is inserted into and extended through the holes on the pushing bars thereby to prevent an unintentional lowering of the car jack and the car.

  • Patent number: 4514205
Abstract: Disclosed is an optical waveguide fiber coating system having means for cooling the hot fiber prior to the time that the fiber enters the coating apparatus. The cooling means comprises an elongated coolant tube through which the fiber passes. Cool dry helium is flowed into that end of the coolant tube into which the fiber enters. In a preferred embodiment, the coolant tube is surrounding by a chamber containing a liquified gas. The helium is cooled by flowing through a coil submerged in the liquified gas prior to being flowed into the tube. An iris diaphragm located at the fiber input end of the coolant tube prevents the entry of moist, warm air into that tube.
