Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a rebalancing reactor of a flow battery system. In one example, a pH of a battery electrolyte may be maintained by the rebalancing reactor by applying a negative potential to a catalyst bed of the rebalancing reactor. A performance of the rebalancing reactor may further be maintained by treating the catalyst bed with deionized water.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a redox flow battery system. In one example, the redox flow battery is adapted with an additive included in a battery electrolyte and an anion exchange membrane separator dividing positive electrolyte from negative electrolyte. An overall system cost of the battery system may be reduced while a storage capacity, energy density and performance may be increased.

Abstract: Disclosed in the present disclosure are a method for transmitting uplink information and a terminal, the method comprising: when a plurality of uplink information conflicts, determining a target spatial relationship between at least part of the uplink information in the plurality of uplink information, the target spatial relationship being: at least one spatial relationship among spatial relationships configured or indicated by a network device for a terminal; and according to the target spatial relationship, transmitting part of the uplink information, wherein uplink information transmitted according to the same spatial relationship among the target spatial relationships does not conflict.

Abstract: Provided is a knowledge distillation technique for training a student language model that, relative to a larger teacher language model, has a significantly smaller vocabulary, lower embedding dimensions, and/or hidden state dimensions. Specifically, aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a dual-training mechanism that trains the teacher and student language models simultaneously to obtain optimal word embeddings for the student vocabulary. In some implementations, this approach can be combined with learning shared projection matrices that transfer layer-wise knowledge from the teacher language model to the student language model. Example experimental results have also demonstrated higher compression efficiency and accuracy when compared with other state-of-the-art compression techniques, including the ability to compress the BERTBAsE model by more than 60×, with only a minor drop in downstream task metrics, resulting in a language model with a footprint of under 7 MB.

Abstract: A play control method includes obtaining a playing state of at least one of a plurality of terminals playing a same video; and controlling a playing progress of at least one of the plurality of terminals when the playing state meets a preset condition. Using the disclosed play control method and apparatus for a plurality of terminals playing a same video, playing synchronization of the plurality of terminals can be maintained under a premise of ensuring that the plurality of terminals do not miss each video segment, so that no communication barrier is resulted due to asynchronous video playing during interactions between users who watch the same video, thus being able to improve user experience.

Abstract: This disclosure discloses a method for determining an occupancy time of a channel state information (CSI) processing unit, and a terminal device. The method includes: determining an occupancy time of the CSI processing unit based on a CSI report type in a CSI report configuration, where the CSI report type includes that CSI information to be reported by the terminal device to a network device is beam measurement information, or that the CSI information to be reported to the network device has no content and a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource is not used for tracking reference signal (TRS) measurement.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method for reporting a CSI report, a terminal device, and a network device. The method includes: receiving first information from a network device, where the first information is used to indicate any one of the following measurement quantities: reference signal received quality RSRQ and signal to interference plus noise ratio SINR; or the first information is used to indicate at least two of the following measurement quantities: reference signal received power RSRP, RSRQ, and SINR; and reporting a CSI report to the network device according to the first information, where the CSI report includes a measurement quantity indicated by the first information. This application is applied to beam reporting.

Abstract: An electrode for use in an all-iron redox flow battery is provided. In one example, the electrode may include a plastic mesh; and a coating on the plastic mesh. The coating may be a hydrophilic coating or a conductive coating and the electrode may have an electrode reaction potential is less than 0.8V. Further, a method of manufacturing a coated plastic mesh electrode for use in an all-iron redox flow battery is provided. In one example method, the steps include fabricating a plastic mesh, treating the plastic mesh by applying a solvent treatment or a plasma treatment or a mechanical abrasion treatment; coating the plastic mesh with a material selected from: carbon inks, metal oxides, and hydrophilic polymers.

In one example, the rebalancing reactor is fluidly coupled to an electrolyte storage tank and configured to flow electrolyte through the plurality of reactor vessels, enabling a chemical rebalancing of electrolyte in the redox flow battery cell.

Abstract: A method of rebalancing electrolytes in a redox flow battery system comprises directing hydrogen gas generated on the negative side of the redox flow battery system to a catalyst surface, and fluidly contacting the hydrogen gas with an electrolyte comprising a metal ion at the catalyst surface, wherein the metal ion is chemically reduced by the hydrogen gas at the catalyst surface, and a state of charge of the electrolyte and pH of the electrolyte remain substantially balanced.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for iron preformation in a redox flow battery. In one example, a method may include, in a first condition, discharging and then charging the redox flow battery, and in a second condition, charging the redox flow battery including preforming iron metal at a negative electrode of the redox flow battery, and thereafter entering an idle mode of the redox flow battery including adjusting one or more electrolyte conditions. In some examples, each of preforming the iron metal and adjusting the one or more electrolyte conditions may increase a battery charge capacity to greater than a threshold battery charge capacity.

Abstract: A method for a redox flow battery may include, interrupting cycling of the redox flow battery, including charging the redox flow battery to a threshold charge condition, draining positive and negative electrolyte from the redox flow battery, circulating a wash solution through the redox flow battery, and returning the positive and negative electrolyte to the redox flow battery, and resuming cycling of the redox flow battery. In this way, contamination of the redox flow battery system can be reduced, thereby prolonging the life and increasing performance of the redox flow battery system.
