    Abstract: Technical solutions are described to implement a scalable write ahead log using a distributed file system. A general aspect includes a method for providing consistency among metadata replicas and content in an enterprise content management cluster. The method includes recording a transaction log entry in response to receiving a content modification request, the transaction log entry including a version identifier set to a first version value. The method also includes updating the transaction log entry to a second version value in response to successfully modifying content and one of a plurality of metadata replicas containing metadata corresponding to the request. The method also includes updating the transaction log entry to a third version value in response to successfully modifying each of the metadata replicas. The present document further describes examples of other aspects such as methods, computer products.

    Abstract: A technique for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARD) transmissions using low-density parity-check (LDPC) coding with self-decodable retransmissions is disclosed. Data is encoded using a low-density parity check code to obtain encoded data, where the encoded data includes core data and non-core data. The encoded data is then stored in a buffer for transmission. A plurality of redundancy versions of the encoded data is then transmitted, wherein all redundancy versions of encoded data include core data, and each of the transmitted redundancy versions of the encoded data includes at least a different subset of the core data. The core data may be reordered prior to obtaining at least one of the different subsets of core data. Each of the transmitted redundancy versions of the encoded data includes sufficient core data to permit self-decodability of the transmission at a receiver.

    Abstract: A blood pressure measurement module includes a top cover, a micro pump, a driving circuit board, and a pressure sensor. The top cover has a gas inlet hole, an accommodation trough, and an outlet channel. An inner wall of the accommodation trough is recessed to form a gas collection chamber in communication with the gas inlet hole, and the outlet channel is connected to a gas bag. The pressure sensor is electrically connected to the driving circuit board. The driving circuit board covers the accommodation trough of the top cover. The operation of the micro pump is controlled by the driving circuit board. The gas is continuously guided to the outlet channel and is converged at the gas bag by the micro pump. When the pressure of the gas in the gas bag measured by the pressure sensor reaches a valve value, the micro pump stops its operation.

A wireless device may receive a codeword over a wireless channel, the codeword encoded using a polar code. The wireless device may identify a set of bit locations of the polar code corresponding to information bits of an encoded information bit vector. The set of bit locations may be determined based at least in part on a reliability order of the bit locations of the polar code, and the reliability order may be determined based at least in part on a recursive model that includes at least one mutual information transfer function that is applied at each polarization stage of multiple polarization stages of the polar code. The wireless device may decode the received codeword to obtain the information bit vector at the set of bit locations.
