    Abstract: An example method for diagnosing an input/output (I/O) issue associated with an object owned by the first host in a vSAN cluster is disclosed. The method includes identifying a first component and a second component of the object. In response to the first component being locally stored on the first host, the methods include collecting a first set of I/O aggregated statistic information. In response to the second component being remotely stored on the second host, the methods include issuing a command to the second host, obtaining a second set of I/O aggregated statistic information from the second host and network metrics associated with the first host and the second host. The methods include diagnosing the I/O issue associated with the object based on the first and second sets of I/O aggregated statistic information and the network metrics.

The inner products of a UE-specific beam weight vector with all reference weight vectors is performed and UE-specific beams are mapped to the set of reference beams. From the set of reference beams, based on the reference beam with largest magnitude of inner product, the direction of the user equipment is determined. Based on that determined direction, the user equipment is instructed in to pair with another user equipment of the plurality.

The hosts in the HCl environment each include a health agent and a task manager. The task manager generates a health monitoring related task in response to the health results being indicative of a change in health status, and stores the health monitoring related task in a task pool that is also shared by the hosts. Any of the hosts can obtain and execute the health monitoring related tasks in the task pool based on a task priority and load balancing criteria.

    Abstract: Comprehensive 2D learning images are collected for learning subjects. Standardized 2D gallery images of many gallery subjects are collected, one per gallery subject. A 2D query image of a query subject is collected, of arbitrary viewing aspect, illumination, etc. 3D learning models, 3D gallery models, and a 3D query model are determined from the learning, gallery, and query images. A transform is determined for the selected learning model and each gallery model that yields or approximates the query image. The transform is at least partly 3D, such as 3D illumination transfer or 3D orientation alignment. The transform is applied to each gallery model so that the transformed gallery models more closely resemble the query model. 2D transformed gallery images are produced from the transformed gallery models, and are compared against the 2D query image to identify whether the query subject is also any of the gallery subjects.

A user equipment (UE), in a first slot, transmits a first CBG feedback corresponding to a first set of CBGs received from a base station. In a second slot after the first slot, the UE receives downlink control information (DCI) and a first cyclic redundancy check (CRC). The first CRC is generated based on the DCI and further scrambled by a first concatenation of CBG feedbacks as decoded by the base station. The UE generates a second CRC based on the DCI and further scrambled by a second concatenation of CBG feedbacks including the first CBG feedback. The UE determines that the base station correctly decoded the first CBG feedback based on a comparison of the first CRC and the second CRC.
