    Abstract: One aspect pertains to a method for producing an ablated wire, including providing a coated wire having a circumference and a length. The coated wire has a core, an outermost coating layer, and an outer surface. The outermost coating layer at least partially surrounds the core. A plurality of laser beams are provided. The coated wire and the plurality of laser beams are arranged with respect to each other. At least two of the plurality of laser beams are arranged at different angular positions with respect to the circumference of the coated wire. The outermost coating layer is at least partially removed by moving at least one of the plurality of laser beams with respect to the coated wire to obtain the ablated wire. At least two of the plurality of laser beams are independent of each other.

    Abstract: A method of making a stretchable film structure is provided. An elastic substrate is pre-stretched in a first direction and a second direction to obtain a pre-stretched elastic substrate. A carbon nanotube film structure is laid on a surface of the pre-stretched elastic substrate. The carbon nanotube film structure comprises a plurality of super-aligned carbon nanotube films stacked with each other. The pre-stretching the elastic substrate is removed and a plurality of wrinkles is formed on a surface of the carbon nanotube film structure to form the stretchable film structure. The present disclosure also relates to the stretchable film structure obtained by the above method.

In certain use cases, the first protocol may demand high resource usage for an extended time, particularly for newer tracking and wearable devices, such as location tags, watches, headsets, etc. Such applications can disrupt existing use cases for a second protocol (e.g., Wi-Fi).     Abstract: A mechanism is provided for implementing an intent segmentation mechanism that segments intent boundaries for multi-intent utterances in a conversational agent. For each term of a set of terms in the utterance from a real-time chat session, a set of adversarial utterances is generated for the utterance. An influence of changing each term is determined so as to identify a term importance value. Utilizing the term importance value, one or more of a change in ranking of the intent of the utterance or a change in confidence with regard to the intent of the utterance is identified. An entropy-based segmentation of the utterance into a plurality of candidate partitions is performed. An associated intent and entropy value are then assigned. Based on a segment with minimum entropy, a call associated with the real-time chat session is directed to an operation associated with an intent of the segment with minimum entropy.

The optical adhesive layer positioned on the light guiding plate is transparent and has a side pasted on and connected to the panel and the side of the optical adhesive layer is comparatively far away from the light guiding component. This could prevent the optical adhesive from covering the light guiding layer of the light guiding component or prevent the refractive index of the flowing air layer from affecting the light transmission efficiency of the light guiding layer. Thus, the light transmission efficiency of the light guiding plate is raised and the display performance and the optical effect of the display module are raised.

The data packet may be queued (or scheduled for transmission) based, at least in part, on the target transmission time and an access category assigned to the data packet. The data packet may be transmitted (or scheduled for transmission) from the queue according to the target transmission time. The expected transmit completion time may be a sum of an average contention time for the access category assigned to the data packet and estimated airtime.

A deep learning algorithm, having a tailored Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) model, is applied to the modified images to generate a first output and a second output. Global features associated with the entirety of the mammographic images are extracted by using the first output. Local features associated with Regions of Interest (ROIs) of the mammographic images are extracted by using the second output. The global features and the local features are combined and fuse to generate an indicator representative of likelihood of malignancy of the target breast tissue.

    Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to reducing power consumption of an electronic device scanning for wireless communication signals while maintaining or even improving an efficiency of the scanning operations. To do so, the electronic device may include more than one scan core, such as a main core and a receiving core. The receiving core may have limited functionality compared to the main core. For example, the receiving core may only receive wireless signals (including scanning for wireless signals). That is, the receiving core may not support certain operations that consume relative high power that are supported by the main core, such as transmission of signals. In this way, operation of the receiving core, either in place of or in addition to the main core, may reduce power consumption of the electronic device by avoiding high power consuming operations, such as data transmission, while scanning for various signals.
