  • Publication number: 20190228649
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product are provided for detecting vehicle queue events and managing traffic flow. A computing system recognizes whether a queue event occurred for each vehicle located in an area of interest based on collected vehicle data. The area of interest includes an intersection, and the vehicle data for the each vehicle includes location information and speed information. The location information further includes a distance to an intersection. The computing system identifies differences in queue length among queues in the area of interest based on the vehicle data and determines queue indicators for each of the queues in the area of interest. Based on queue indicators for each of the queues in in the area of interest generated over multiple sampling periods, traffic signal lights at the intersection in the area of interest are managed.

  • Patent number: 10353526
Abstract: Human environments are typified by walls—homes, offices, schools, museums, hospitals and pretty much every indoor context one can imagine has walls. In many cases, they make up a majority of readily accessible indoor surface area, and yet they are static—their primary function is to be a wall, separating spaces and hiding infrastructure. We present the Wall++ system, a low-cost sensing approach that allows walls to become a smart infrastructure. Instead of merely separating spaces, walls can now enhance rooms with sensing and interactivity. Our wall treatment and sensing hardware can track users' touch and gestures, as well as estimate body pose if they are close. By capturing airborne electromagnetic noise, we can also detect what appliances are active and where they are located. Through a series of evaluations, we demonstrate the Wall++ system can enable robust room-scale interactive and context-aware applications.

  • Publication number: 20190213109
Abstract: A computer-implanted method for creating a filtered digital entry includes generating, via a processor implementing a trace generation engine, a trace indicative of successful transactions and erroneous transactions. The processor instantiates a plurality of buffers in a buffer pool each configured to record a trace function boundary. The processor then analyzes each buffer in the buffer pool based on the trace function boundary to evaluate whether each function entry in the trace contains an erroneous transaction. If the processor determines that a function entry contains an erroneous transaction, the processor sets an output flag in a call stack map associated with that function. The processor then generates a filtered digital entry based on the call stack map. The filtered digital entry includes only erroneous transaction data from the trace.

  • Patent number: 10341223
Abstract: An I/O board of a VXLAN switch receives a multicast data packet having a first VXLAN encapsulation, removes the first VXLAN encapsulation, determines that layer 3 multicast forwarding is to be performed for the multicast data packet, and sends the multicast data packet to a fabric board. The fabric board determines that layer 3 multicast forwarding is to be performed for the multicast data packet. When a multicast group member port corresponding to the multicast data packet is a VXLAN tunnel port, the fabric board modifies a source MAC address of the multicast data packet and sends the modified multicast data packet to an I/O board corresponding to the multicast group member port. The I/O board corresponding to the multicast group member port adds a second VXLAN encapsulation to the multicast data packet and forwards the multicast data packet having the second VXLAN encapsulation to a VXLAN.
