    Abstract: The disclosure herein describes enabling use of a logical unit for data storage in a distributed storage system using a plurality of backend data objects. Based on receiving instructions to create a logical unit of a logical unit size, a target backend object size to be used with the logical unit is determined, and a plurality of backend objects for allocation to the logical unit is calculated. The backend objects are allocated to the logical unit and a metadata mapping associated with the logical unit is generated. The metadata mapping associates logical block addresses of the logical unit to the allocated backend objects. The logical unit is linked with the metadata mapping in an input/output (I/O) service and, based on the linked metadata mapping, I/O traffic is routed to and from the logical unit. Using multiple backend objects enhances flexibility and efficiency of data storage on the distributed storage system.

    Abstract: A method for avoiding transmission of side information by a Partial Transmit Sequence, comprising the following steps: Step 1: determining an indication sequence of a data sub-carrier and a pilot sub-carrier; Step 2: grouping the frequency domain data blocks including data and pilots to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the OFDM signal by phase rotation according to the PTS method. Step 3: processing the pilot of the received signal through channel estimation based on fast Fourier transform interpolation to obtain a frequency domain channel response, and extracting a phase rotation sequence. Step 4: equalizing the received data through the obtained frequency domain channel response. Step 5: performing inverse rotation of phase on the equalized data through the phase rotation information extracted in Step 3 to obtain transmitted data symbols.

The pitch and yaw acceleration sensors arranged on the center of mass of the aircraft model are used to measure the two components of the main vibration acceleration of the aircraft model, and the main vibration vector of the aircraft model is obtained and the real-time vibration plane of the strut is determined. Inertia is introduced to solve the dynamic bending moment on the active section of the multi-dimensional vibration damper, and then the stress distribution on the active section is obtained. A 3D measurement system based on a fixed 1D displacement sensor is established; then a spatial measurement model based on the 1D displacement sensor is established; and then based on the high precision pose data of the measurement plane and sensor measurement data, spatial calibration constraint equation are established; a weighted iterative algorithms is employed to calculate the extrinsic parameters of the 1D sensor that meet the precision requirements, then the calibration process is completed. A high precision 3D measurement model is established; a 3D measurement model based on a 1D displacement sensor is established, and the calibration method of the measurement model is proposed, which will improve the precision of the 3D measurement model and solve the problem of inaccurate spatial measurement caused by the errors of the sensor extrinsic parameters.

    Abstract: Certain Embodiments described herein relate to configuring the network-storage stack of two devices (e.g., physical or virtual) communicating together (e.g., an initiator and a target, as defined below) with Internet Small Computer Systems Interface (iSCSI) extension for remote direct memory access (RDMA) iSER, which is a protocol designed to utilize RDMA to accelerate iSCSI data transfer. The iSER protocol is implemented as an iSER datamover layer that acts as an interface between an iSCSI layer and an RDMA layer of the network-storage stacks of the two devices. Using iSER in conjunction with RDMA allows for bypassing the existing traditional network protocol layers (e.g., TCP/IP protocol layers) of the devices and permits data to be transferred directly, between the two devices, using certain memory buffers, thereby avoiding memory copies taking place when the existing network protocol layers are used.
