Abstract: Methods and arrangements for selecting a migration decision window for hotspots in a multi-tier enterprise storage system. Aspects include collecting usage statistics for data stored in the multi-tier enterprise storage system, identifying hotspots from data stored in the multi-tier enterprise storage system based on the usage statistics, and determining one or more characteristics of the identified hotspots. Aspects further include calculating an average lifespan of the identified hotspots based on the one or more characteristics of the identified hotspots and selecting the migration decision window based on the average lifespan of the identified hotspots and the one or more characteristics of the identified hotspots.

Abstract: Techniques for dynamically generating feedback based on contextual information and providing the feedback to a user are provided. A service provider determines, based on contextual information related to a user (such as personal information previously provided by the user) interactive data to display to the user. The type of interactive data may correspond to the type of personal information submitted by the user or derived by the service provider. The interactive data may be based on other users that have already registered with the service provider. In this way, a user is able to (1) view current and relevant information that is related to the user and (2) see the value that the user receives by providing additional personal information. Subsequent interactive data may be based on multiple personal data items that the service provider receives from the user. These techniques are also applicable after a user has registered with a service provider.

Abstract: Implementations herein relate to a method for preparing organic-pollution-resistant ion exchange resins and application thereof. The method includes adding modified inorganic particles to prepare novel ion exchange resins containing inorganic particles modified by a parcel modifier. A weight ratio between the monomer of the ion exchange resins and the modified inorganic particles is about 0.1% to 30%. The method may increase moisture content of the resins 3 to 30% such as to improve the structures of the resins, and therefore increase the regeneration efficiency 0.4 to 70%, as compared to conventions resins. The method improves resistance of resins to organic pollution, increases regeneration efficiency, and extends service life of the resins. In the process of water treatment, the ion exchange resin of the implementations may be regenerated with long-term stability. In addition to securing the water treatment efficiency, the method may avoid frequent replacement operations and lower the costs.

Abstract: An interference-proof electrical plug connector has an insulative housing, two terminal sets, a shielding-grounding plate and a shell. The terminal sets are mounted in the insulative housing and each terminal sets has multiple conductive terminals. Each terminal set has multiple conductive terminals and at least one pair of super-speed signal terminals. Each super-speed signal terminal has a mounting section including a widening tab laterally protruding from the mounting section toward an adjacent super-speed signal terminal to reduce the distance between the super-speed signal terminals of the pair. The shielding-grounding plate is mounted in a rear end of the insulative housing. The widening tabs of each pair of the super-speed signal terminals effectively diminish impedance of the super-speed signal terminal such that input loss and return loss of the super-speed signal terminals are reduced.

Abstract: A system and a method for parallel power supply control for auxiliary converters of a motor train unit in the presence of interconnecting lines. The system comprises multiple three-phase inverter modules. The multiple three-phase inverter modules are in parallel connection with each other. Any two-phase circuit of a three-phase inverter module is separately in parallel connection with a corresponding two-phase circuit of a three-phase inverter module adjacent to the three-phase inverter module by using a connecting line module. The connecting line module is connected to a control system. The three-phase inverter modules are also connected to the control system. The three-phase lines of the three-phase inverter modules are all provided with switches.

Abstract: An electrical plug connector assembly has an insulative housing, a first terminal set, a second terminal set and a circuit board. The first and second terminal sets are mounted in the insulative housing. The first terminal set has multiple first conductive terminals each including a first soldering section. The second terminal set has multiple second conductive terminals each including a second soldering section. The first and second soldering sections are soldered on an identical surface of the circuit board such that only one single soldering process is required to solder all of the first and second conductive terminals to the circuit board. The production rate of the electrical plug connector assembly is therefore improved.

Abstract: An electrical plug connector has an insulative housing, two terminal sets, a shielding-grounding plate and a shell. The terminal sets are mounted in the insulative housing and each terminal set has multiple conductive terminals. The shielding-grounding plate is mounted in a rear end of the insulative housing and has a shielding body mounted in the rear end of the insulative housing and located between the terminal sets and two resilient hooking arms formed on and protruding forward respectively from two opposite sides of the shielding body and extending in the insulative housing. The shielding-grounding plate is located above the conductive terminals of the two terminal sets and shields the terminal sets such that each terminal set would not interfere with the other terminal set with cross talk when implementing signal transmission.

The buckling portion is defined at the front of the rear positioning block. The buckling portion is adapted to be mated and engaged with the rear assembling portion.

The method includes forming a plurality of gate electrodes at a predetermined interval on a surface of a semiconductor substrate, forming spacers on sidewalls of the gate electrodes, depositing an interconnection layer conformally on the surface of the semiconductor substrate over the gate electrodes and the spacers, selectively etching the interconnection layer, wherein at least a portion of the interconnection layer that is formed on the surface of the semiconductor substrate and sidewalls of the spacers and located between adjacent gate electrodes remains after the selective etch, and forming an electrical contact on the etched interconnection layer located between the adjacent gate electrodes.

The insulated housing is received in a receiving cavity of the metallic shell and includes a mating room and side assembling cavities. The side assembling cavities are defined at two sides of the insulated housing and communicate with the mating room. Abstract: Offline functionality-based co-ranking and clustering is carried out on a knowledge base that characterizes a heterogeneous information technology services network including a plurality of services, a plurality of providers, and a plurality of attributes. Results of the functionality-based co-ranking and clustering are stored as annotations of the services and the providers in the knowledge base, to obtain an annotated knowledge base. A service requirement is obtained from a customer requiring information technology services. The annotated knowledge base is queried, based on the service requirement; and an ordered list of at least given ones of the services, based on the querying, is returned to the customer.

Abstract: When a user of a social network accepts an invitation message to connect with another user of the social network, a system may use a history of user activity to determine where the user is subsequently directed within the social-network website. In particular, based on the history of user activity associated with an in-network page with recommendations for possible connections for the user within the network of users, the system may determine whether or not there have been too many impressions of the in-network page. If not, the system may present the in-network page with a recommendation for a possible in-network connection for the user within the network of users. Then, if the system receives a user selection of the possible in-network connection, the system may provide an invitation message inviting the possible in-network connection to connect with the user by activating a link in the invitation message.

Abstract: A natural language specification of at least one high level information technology services requirement is obtained from a user, via a conversational interface; the same is parsed into first pre-defined semi-structured data, using a conversation parser. Based on the first pre-defined semi-structured data, a subset of candidate information technology services is identified, with a dialog engine, from a plurality of candidate information technology services provided by a plurality of vendors, the dialog engine is used to formulate a response including second pre-defined semi-structured data. The response is reverse-parsed into a natural language response, using the conversation parser. The natural language response includes a question for the user to assist in further refining the subset of candidate information technology services; the natural language response is presented to the user via the conversational interface.

Abstract: A method for detecting the high-pressure sealing performance of a gas system after an impact test of a compressed natural gas vehicle, including installing a high-pressure sensor with a characteristic curve on an air inlet pipe of a pressure reducer, and inflating a high-pressure pipeline with compressed gas under a safe pressure; inflating the gas system with compressed gas to a normal working pressure before the impact test of the compressed natural gas vehicle; collecting a voltage value by the high-pressure sensor within 1-3 hours, and determining that the sealing performance of the gas system of the compressed natural gas vehicle is satisfactory when a detected voltage drop value is smaller than a preset value; otherwise, determining that the sealing performance of the gas system of the compressed natural gas vehicle is unsatisfactory.
