Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a vehicle-mounted library workstation, comprising a shell, on which a books and disks identifying module and a reader card identifying module are arranged; wherein the books and disks identifying module comprises a book reading antenna and a book reader for driving the book reading antenna, decoding and transferring data scanned by the book reading antenna; the book reader and reader card reading device are RFID tags readers; the vehicle-mounted library workstation being connected to a computer while working, wherein the computer controls the reader card identifying module to collect information of the reader card, controls the books and disks identifying module to collect information of the books and disks, and processes the information of the reader card and information of the books or disks to finish operations of borrowing and returning books.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are provided to efficiently allocate extremely large storage spaces for use by dynamic hash tables. A contiguous storage space is designated from which dynamic hash tables can be created. These dynamic hash tables benefit from rapid allocation by being able to reserve many allocation units (each potentially comprising a large number of pages, e.g., 256 pages) within a short span of time, rather than resorting to reserving individual pages. The efficiency from allocation and the contiguous space significantly improves performance for databases in the 50 GB-100 GB size range.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and apparatus for service identifying and routing in a multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS) system. The apparatus includes a radio access network equipment (RNC) and a core network equipment (CN) communicating with each other via an Iu connection; CN includes a module for service information transmission which is used to send the identity information corresponding to the service the UE joins to RNC, and RNC includes a module for service identifying and routing which is used to identify the service according to the identity information and determine the routing of the MBMS service in the non access stratum. RNC obtains the identity information corresponding to the service the UE joins through interaction of interface information with CN, identifies the service and determines the routing of the MBMS service in the non access stratum.

Abstract: Systems and methods for non-disruptive cache startup, shutdown, data partition movement, and node rebalancing for a data fabric within a data grid in a database environment. The data grid is a clustered in-memory database (IMDB) cache comprising one or more data fabrics including multiple IMDB cache nodes. The method takes a time tag and moves data from source to destination nodes while allowing updates to data on the source nodes. The method propagates updates occurring after the time tag to destination nodes from source nodes and switches applications and ownership to the destination nodes. Another method slices data for a partitioned fabric and stores slices on nodes. Another method starts a data fabric by moving data from a grid backend to the nodes. In an embodiment, another method rebalances nodes in a non-disruptive manner. When a fabric is shutdown, the method saves data from the nodes to the grid backend.

Abstract: System, method, computer program product embodiments and combinations and sub-combinations thereof for a distributed data cache database architecture are provided. An embodiment includes providing a scalable distribution of in-memory database (IMDB) system nodes organized as one or more data fabrics. Further included is providing a plurality of data granularity types for storing data within the one or more data fabrics. Database executions are managed via the one or more data fabrics for a plurality of applications compatible with at least one data granularity type.

Abstract: System and methods for temporary data management in shared disk cluster configurations is described. In one embodiment, a method for managing temporary data storage comprises: creating a global temporary database accessible to all nodes of the cluster on shared storage; creating a local temporary database accessible to only a single node (owner node) of the cluster; providing failure recovery for the global temporary database without providing failure recovery for the local temporary database, so that changes to the global temporary database are transactionally recovered upon failure of a node; binding an application or database login to the local temporary database on the owner node for providing the application with local temporary storage when connected to the owner node; and storing temporary data used by the application or database login in the local temporary database without requiring use of write ahead logging for transactional recovery of the temporary data.

Abstract: The invention discloses a method for acquiring MBMS access information comprising: in a modification period, upon receiving an MBMS access information message transmitted from a network a UE initiating a corresponding procedure according to its state; if completing the corresponding procedure successfully, the UE stopping receiving a further MBMS access information messages; if not completing the corresponding procedure successfully the UE continuing acquiring further MBMS access information messages. The method facilitates the UE to automatically control MBMS access information acquiring procedure, and further reduces energy consumption of the UE to the maximum extent.

Abstract: Aspects for achieving efficient data access to data elements in a relational database management system are provided. In a computer-implemented method aspect, the efficient data access occurs by establishing a hash table for data elements of a database in a predetermined continuous space of allocated storage, and optimizing utilization of the hash table during database query operations through linear hashing, wherein extension of the hash table occurs automatically to increase a number of pages in the hash table without discernible interruptions of data access to the data elements.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for recounting the number of the UE in a multimedia broadcast/multicast service. When a radio access network prepares to initiate a recounting procedure, perform the steps of: the RAN sending recounting indication information for an MBMS service to User Equipment (UE) or UEs; the UE detecting the recounting indication information and responding to the recounting indication information by establishing a radio resource control (RRC) connection or initiating a cell update procedure according to the recounting indication information and received MBMS access information; the RAN counting the number of UE(s) which have joined the MBMS service and are within a cell according to the state of the UEs respectively. The application of the present invention will make the recounting result more accurate, thus the selection of MBMS bearer mode by UTRAN based on the recounting result is more appropriate.
