    Abstract: An electronic device includes a storage unit, a touch display unit and a processing unit. The storage unit stores a parameter table comprising a plurality of parameters, and each parameter includes a first group of coordinates to determine the first part of a page and a second group of coordinates to determine the second part of the page. When the user's touch crosses a predetermined area, the processing unit obtains the parameters in sequence, and produces a tear-off-page figure on the first part of a current page, to cover the second part with a second area of the following page to display a combined page. Then the processing unit may store or delete the tore-off page according to a user selection after the next page is displayed in full. A related method is also provided.

The dicing process includes: (a) disposing a wafer-breaking carrier on a supporting device, the wafer-breaking carrier having a chipping unit; (b) disposing the wafer above the supporting device such that the chipping unit is at a position corresponding to the scribe lines; and (c) adhering a release surface of the release film to the wafer by applying a force to the release film to contact the chipping unit of the wafer-breaking carrier with the wafer, such that the wafer is split along the scribe lines into the dies.

Next, the first surface is treated during a surface treatment process to form a current-blocking region which extends from the first surface to the light emitting layer to a depth of 1000 angstroms. Afterward, a first electrode is formed above the current-blocking region of the second-type semiconductor layer, and a second electrode is formed to electrically contact to the first-type semiconductor layer. Since the current-blocking region is formed with a determined depth within the second-type semiconductor layer, the light extraction efficiency of the light emitting diode may be increased.

    Abstract: An optical scanning projection system includes a scanning light source component, a second reflecting element, a transparent element, a scanning element, a photosensitive element and a control module. The transparent element receives a main light beam emitted by the scanning light source component and reflects a part of the main light beam to be a reflected light. The reflected light is reflected by the second reflecting element, and the scanning element reflects the reflected light from the second reflecting element in a scanning manner. The photosensitive element receives the reflected light from the scanning element and outputs a sensing signal, and the control module actuates or stops actuating the scanning light source component according to the sensing signal. Therefore, when the scanning element is damaged, the control module may instantly stop actuating the scanning light source component, thereby enhancing the using safety of the optical scanning projection system.

    Abstract: A wafer laser-marking method is provided. First, a wafer having a first surface (an active surface) and a second surface (a back surface) opposite to each other is provided. Next, the wafer is thinned. Then, the thinned wafer is fixed on a non-UV tape such that the second surface of the wafer is attached to the tape. Finally, the laser marking step is performed, such that a laser light penetrates the non-UV tape and marks a pattern on the second surface of the wafer. According to the laser-marking method of the embodiment, the pattern is formed by the non-UV residuals left on the second surface of the wafer, and the components of the glue residuals at least include elements of silicon and carbon.
