Abstract: A flexible printed circuit board substrate comprising a conductive layer and a support layer bonded to the conductive layer, in which the support layer comprises a metal layer for structural support, an adhesive layer formed on one side of the metal layer for bonding the metal layer to the conductive layer, and a protective layer formed on the other side of the metal layer. The flexible printed circuit board substrate according to the present invention can avoid the problem of substrate warpage caused by dimension variations frequently encountered by a conventional flexible printed circuit board substrate.

Abstract: A fastening assembly for riser cards equipped with memory modules includes holders and latches. Each of the holders has bars and pillars to form a solid framework and couple to a mother board. The edges of the riser cards are held by holding grooves on the pillars to enable the riser cards sliding therein and insert towards riser sockets on the mother board. Meanwhile, the latches slip to latch the holding grooves to limit the movement of the riser cards. Thus, the fastening assembly improves the fixing strength of the riser cards and prevents from moving off while impacted, vibrated or crashed.

The first testing set is mounted inside the second room and enclosed inside the shielding unit. The testing set includes a table and a receiver. The table is attached to the bottom of the second room. The receiver is separable from the table and is electrically connected to the testing apparatus in the first room. In such an arrangement, the mobile laboratory can be transported to any desired location conveniently and is versatile in use.

Abstract: A method provides efficient data transmission between an input-output card with an add-on memory card and a host system. The input-output card carrying an inserted memory card is connected with the host system to improve the mechanical strength of the arrangement. An input-output controller on the input-output card controls a switch that switches between data buses. The memory card and the input-output card optionally share all data buses of the input-output card to transmit data with the host system, directly transmit data between each other, or respectively use a portion of them to achieve a better transmitting efficiency.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for detecting leads off in a multi-electrode medical diagnostic system. The multi-electrode medical diagnostic system comprises: a carrier circuit unit connected to a plurality of active electrodes and a reference electrode connected to a patient to be detected for generating a plurality of carrier signals of lead impedances and impedance pneumography; a pre-stage protecting circuit coupled to the carrier circuit unit and generating a plurality of input impedance signals to prevent the apparatus from being damaged by defibrillation; and a leads-off detection unit coupled to the carrier circuit unit for demodulating the plurality of input impedance signals into lead impedance related voltages.

Abstract: A communication device for storing personal or department data is disclosed. A communication machine is installed with an operating panel with a one-touch dial function and a liquid crystal display, which are connected to a circuit control unit. A reading machine is installed in the communication machine. An internal circuit of the reading machine is communicated with the circuit control unit; and at least one card-inserting seat is installed in the communication machine for being inserted by at least one memory card. Each memory card serves to store personal data or department data, use setting values of a device, or data of a telephone book. Each card-inserting seat is connected to the internal circuit of the reading machine. When an operator is desired to user the device, it is only needed to insert the memory card into the card-inserting seat. Thereby, the reading machine reads the data in the memory card, then, the one-touch dial function in the operating panel is replaced by the memory card.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a foldable structure of a scooter, which can be operated with one hand, and the scooter comprises a bottom module having a front wheel, wherein a handle control rod of the coupling frame being extended from the rear end of the bottom module, and a tail module having a rear wheel with a footrest. By passing the axle through such members, the handle control rod and the footrest are latched to form a coupling base, and the foldable structure of the scooter characterized in that the coupling base has two positioning holes on one of its sides, and an arc sliding groove on the other side, and a fixing structure latched with the coupling base inside the coupling frame, and such fixing structure is the link rod passed through by a spring inside the coupling frame.

Abstract: A cool mug is provided with a closed chamber defined between an outer vessel and an inner vessel. The bottom is closed with a bottom cap to form the closed chamber. The bottom cap has a hole for filling the closed chamber with a thermal storage substance for low temperatures and then the hole is sealed to prevent the thermal storage substance from leaking out. Acrylate resin copolymer is mixed with water and used as the low-temperature thermal storage substance. Further, a substance may also be added in the acrylate resin copolymer mixture for imparting freeze resistant properties thereto, and acting as an antiseptic.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a low-temperature keeping substance which is packed into a closed chamber formed between two rims of a cool mug to keep drinks held in the cool mug cold and comprises water, water absorptive polymer of acrylate resin polymer, stuffed into a chamber of a cool mug; wherein the water and water absorptive polymer are in the ratio of 13:1 (c.c.:g) mixed together as a low-temperature keeping substance which expands and becomes a semisolid one. CaCl can also be used as a freeze-resist substance and Sodium Benzoate used as a preservative and antiseptic so as to prevent the low-temperature keeping substance from being a sharp ice as well as increase the safety when a consumer uses it. Besides, the low-temperature keeping substance has various colors and makes the cool mug look colorful in an aesthetically pleasing manner and gives people a pleasant feeling.

Abstract: A supporting device for a picture frame comprises a mount adapted to be securely attached to a picture frame back and a support piece. The mount has one or more pairs of opposite sides defined on a periphery thereof. The support piece is selectably received in a selected pair of holes in corresponding pair of opposite sides of the mount. Depending on which pair of holes is selected to receive the support piece, the support piece is adaptable to picture frames of different sizes.

Abstract: Described is a radiation sensitive imaging film containing a heat fixable radiation sensitive element, e.g., a diacetylene, of the formula: R--C.tbd.C--C.tbd.C--R', where R and R' are, e.g., both --CH.sub.2 --O--CONH--(CH.sub.2).sub.5 CH.sub.3. After exposure to X-radiation during diagnostic or X-ray therapy, the resulting image can be permanently dry fixed by a short heating step and then stored for a long period. Processes for making the film, new binder-convertor systems, and a device incorporating the film are described as well as other imaging, diagnostic and therapeutic methods utilizing the film in high energy radiation applications in the health care field.

Abstract: A device is provided for opening at least one package bag which has a first sheet having a first top edge and a second sheet having a second top edge detachably engaged with each other. The device includes a horizontal L-shaped base member. A vertical U-shaped baffle is arranged and has one distal end fixedly attached to a second plate of the base member. At least one horizontal post has one distal end fixedly attached to the baffle, and the top edge of the first sheet of the package bag is mounted around the horizontal post. A pushing member has a vertical section slidably mounted around the horizontal post for urging the first top edge of the first sheet of the package bag to abut on the baffle. A pressing mechanism is mounted on the first plate of the base member and includes a pressing member pivotally mounted thereon. A pressing plate is formed on one end portion of the pressing member and is rested on the second top edge of the second sheet of the package bag.
