  • Patent number: 8141060
Abstract: The present invention provides a graphical model in a computing environment, where the graphical model includes at least a caller entity. A call command associated with the caller entity is executed, where the call command includes at least a partial name of the callee entity. The at least one callee entity may be identified based on the partial name of the at least one callee entity provided in the call command. The at least one callee entity may then be called.

Date of Patent: March 20, 2012
    Assignee: The MathWorks, Inc.
Inventors: Vijay Raghavan, Pieter J. Mosterman, Yao Ren
  • Patent number: 7705755
Abstract: The present invention provides a signal converting apparatus with built-in self test, including a first signal converting circuit, a second signal converting circuit, a comparing apparatus, a control logic apparatus and a voltage divider. The first and the second signal converting circuit take a first and a second reference voltage and are respectively controlled by a first and second set of control signals from the control logic apparatus for the comparing apparatus to generate a comparing result.

Date of Patent: April 27, 2010
    Assignee: Elan Microelectronics Corporation
    Inventors: Chao-Chi Yang, Yao-Ren Fan
  • Publication number: 20100100202
Abstract: A method for controlling an operating mode of a portable electronic device having a first plane and a second plane connected together comprises forming a magnet in the first plane, forming a magnetic flux sensor in a position of the second plane corresponding to the magnet for sensing magnetic flux, and controlling the operating mode of the portable electronic device according to the sensing result of the magnetic flux sensor.

  • Publication number: 20080096294
Abstract: An integrated circuit structure has an IC chip, at least a functional bump, and at least a dummy bump positioned on a joint surface of the IC chip. A terminal surface of the dummy bump is different in appearance from a terminal surface of the functional bump, which improves an inspection process during production of the IC chip.

  • Publication number: 20070261019
Abstract: The present invention provides a graphical model in a computing environment that enables a non-graphical entity to be a caller entity that executes a sequence of commands to call to a graphical or non-graphical entity that is a callee. The present invention also enables a graphical entity to be a caller to call a non-graphical entity as a callee. The present invention further allows graphical entities to have a variable number of input ports and output ports and provides the ability to use function overloading that is similar to function overloading provided in textual programming languages, such as C and C++. Further, the present invention allows the use of hyperlink between navigate between the caller and callee entities.

  • Publication number: 20040073413
Abstract: A method of specifying a truth table includes generating a block diagram model, generating a statechart in the block diagram model, selecting a truth table graphical function in the statechart, and applying a set of graphical semantics for logic specification to the truth table graphical function combined with textual language predicates and actions.
