    Abstract: A disk fixing structure containing a disk having at least one hole in a bottom thereof is provided. The disk fixing structure includes a first fixing device and a second fixing device. The first fixing device has a surface disposing thereon the disk, at least one protrusion mounted on the surface for being lodged in the at least one hole, and a plurality of first engaging elements arranged on each of two opposite edges of the surface which correspond to two sides of the disk. The second fixing device has two lateral plates opposite to each other, and a plurality of second engaging elements disposed on each of the two lateral plates, and engaging with the plurality of first engaging elements.

    Abstract: The invention provides a white light illumination device including an ultraviolet excitation light source and an ultraviolet excitable aluminosilicate phosphor. The ultraviolet excitable aluminosilicate phosphor has a formula as (M1-x,Rex)aAlbSicOd:D, wherein M is Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba or combination thereof. In addition, Re is Y, La, Pr, Nd, Eu, Gd, Tb, Ce, Dy, Yb, Er, Sc, Mn, Zn, Cu, Ni, Lu or combination thereof, while 0<a,b,c,d, 2a+3b+4c=2d, and 0?x?a. Furthermore, D is F, Cl, I, Br, OH, S or combinations thereof. The aluminosilicate phosphor emits blue or blue-green light under the excitation of ultraviolet light, and the aluminosilicate phosphor may further collocate with different color phosphors to provide a white light illumination device.

    Abstract: The invention provides a red phosphor composed of M(Eu1-x-yLaxBiy)4Si3O13, wherein M is Ca, Sr, Ba, or combinations thereof, 0<x<1, and 0<y<1. Under excitation of blue light or ultraviolet light, the red phosphor emits red light having a major emission peak of about 613 nm. The red phosphor of the invention may be collocated with green and blue phosphors to provide a white light illumination device.

    Abstract: Eletroluminescent elements with doubled-sided luminous surface and feasible processes for making such elements are disclosed. Double-sided illuminating EL lamps comprise a common layer in the preferred multilayer structure are proposed, and the use of common layer in such double-sided illuminating EL lamps have the advantages of fewer layers, smaller thickness, less weights, fewer manufacturing steps and less cost without sacrificing any functional feature or performance. Such double-sided illuminating EL lamps may be fabricated by paste-coating or ink-printing method with a sequential-process or split-process, and these EL lamps provide two illuminating surfaces that can emit light simultaneously or independently depending on the design of EL structure and driver's circuit.
