Publication number: 20160275063Abstract: Techniques disclosed herein provide access to a markup document form. A user interface virtualization (UIV) agent identifies name fields and input fields in rows of the markup document form. The UIV agent maps each of the name fields to a respective one of the input fields to identify name-input pairs. The UIV agent generates user interface (UI) metadata having row metadata specifying the rows of the markup document and name-input pair metadata specifying the name-input pairs. The UIV agent sends the UI metadata to a mobile client device configured to render a form having UI elements native to the mobile client device based on the UI metadata.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 26, 2016Publication date: September 22, 2016Inventors: Yao ZHANG, Yu Xin KOU, Chang Yan CHI, Zhibin HE, Junfei WU

Patent number: 9355081Abstract: Techniques disclosed herein transform HTML forms into forms with graphical user interfaces (UIs) native to mobile devices. A user interface virtualization (UIV) agent divides an HTML form into rows based on row breaks. The UIV agent then identifies name-input pairs in the HTML form by applying a trained naïve Bayes classifier to determine name fields, and mapping the name fields to corresponding input fields. In addition, the UIV agent generates metadata which includes both information describing the rows in the form and the name-input information. Based on the metadata, a native form renderer running in the client device draws the form with native UI elements. In addition, the native form renderer forwards native UI events as HTML events.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 2014Date of Patent: May 31, 2016Assignee: VMware, Inc.Inventors: Yao Zhang, Yu Xin Kou, Chang Yan Chi, Zhibin He, Junfei Wu

Patent number: 8493403Abstract: Color transformation sample point identification is described. A subset of points from a superset of points representing a colorimetric relationship is identified. The subset of points defines an initial n-simplex with (n+1) points representing an approximation of the colorimetric relationship, where n represents a number of dimensions. An additional point from the superset of points is selected and added to the subset of points to replace the n-simplex with a set of at least two n-simplices. The additional point is selected such that a volume of an (n+1)-simplex formed by the (n+1) points of the initial n-simplex and the additional point is increased. An error value for the approximation is determined by calculating an error volume between the (n+1)-simplex and the superset of points.Type: GrantFiled: September 4, 2009Date of Patent: July 23, 2013Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.Inventors: Ingeborg Tastl, John Ludd Recker, Yao Zhang

Publication number: 20120284147Abstract: In a commerce transaction between a buyer and seller that involves transfer of an item, payment is made through an independent online payment system. A seller sends a threshold amount and a payment amount to a payment server for the transaction involving the item. The payment server creates an intermediate account based on the threshold amount and the payment amount. To proceed with the transaction, a buyer transfers a fund amount to the payment server. The payment server determines whether the fund amount is not less than the threshold amount, and if so, the payment server designates the fund amount as an account balance associated with the buyer in the intermediate account. The payment server then transfers funds corresponding to the payment amount from the intermediate account to an account designated by the seller after receiving a payment request indicating the buyer's receipt of the item.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 19, 2012Publication date: November 8, 2012Applicant: ALIBABA GROUP HOLDING LIMITEDInventors: Qionglin Nie, Liang Yang, Renchen Huang, Yao Zhang, Peng Wei, Xiaolong Ma, Qun Wang

Patent number: 8209744Abstract: Mobile device assisted secure computer network communications embodiments are presented that employ a mobile device (e.g., a mobile phone, personal digital assistant (PDA), and the like) to assist in user authentication. In general, this is accomplished by having a user enter a password into a client computer which is in contact with a server associated with a secure Web site. This password is integrated with a secret value, which is generated in real time by the mobile device. The secret value is bound to both the mobile device's hardware and the secure Web site being accessed, such that it is unique to both. In this way, a different secret value is generated for each secure Web site accessed, and another user cannot impersonate the user and log into a secure Web site unless he or she knows the password and possesses the user's mobile device simultaneously.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2008Date of Patent: June 26, 2012Assignee: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Bin Zhu, Min Feng, Xu Yin, Yang Yang, Yao Zhang, Jun Shao
